The world seemed to be crashing in around me
throwing one obstacle after another my way
I tried to deal with it with grace
but I managed to compromise my stance
day by day, I continued with the motions of life
the stresses pilling up
when I found out about you
how could I even deal with this
a baby? there was no way

I became used to the idea,
heart sinking in misery, tears abounding
feeling a sharp pain
you've disappeared from my world
before you could even begin your life
I cry out in pain
how could I have wished you away
I never knew how much I wanted you
until you left me
