I wake up from my dream, my mouths as dry as a deserted island. I roll over to pick up my drink but knock it over due to how exhausted I am and how clumsy I am. The water from the bottle spills out onto the floor, it flys up and enters my hands. The pain sparks throughout my body, water flowing down my veins, into my blood. I scream in pain, my entire body tingling and itching for warmth. My parents enter my room, shouting my name as they attempt to walk through the darkness to see me.
"Lilly... Lilly are you ok?" They ask as they kneel down beside me. I nod quickly. "It was just a dream, I'm fine thanks." I whisper under the pain. But in reality I was far from fine. I was confused... worried but above all I was scared.
I was use to the pain by now. It was part of me. I have changed, lots, since that night.
