Chapter 6

Josh's POV
I was so excited me and Maya were going to have a baby. I was just nervous about telling everyone today. Everyone was there my parents,Corey and Topanga and Maya's parents. We all had just finished eating when I signaled to Maya it was time she got up and stood in front of everyone. Everyone faces toward her.

M:I have an announcement to make
M: I'm pregnant
All:WHAT?!?
Shawn broke his glass cup in his hand
K,S,T:Who is the father
I stood up
J: I am
Shawn bolted up out of his seat and Katy tried holding him  back but it was no use he ran towards me and I was walking backwards.
S:YOU!! HOW COULD YOU DO THIS THIS IS YOUR FAULT!!!
He was about to punch me when Maya came to my rescue. She hopped right in front of me and he dropped his fist to his side.
M:THIS WAS MY FAULT TOO NOT JUST HIS WE BOTH MADE A MISTAKE!! She shouted at his face
Maya calmed down after yelling
Al: Josh how could you be so irresponsible
J:I'm sorry did it was an accident we didn't mean for it to happen
Am:but sorry doesn't fix it. you two had a whole future in front of you.
J: I'm really sorry mom but what are we suppose to do
Al: you could get an abortion
That's when I flipped out
J:HOW COULD YOU EVEN SAY SOMETHING LIKE THAT WE ARE NOT ABORTING THIS BABY ME AND MAYA BOTH AGREED WE ARE GOING TO KEEP IT!!!
Maya came to my side and tried to calm me down by rubbing my back but it wasn't working.
J: I STILL DONT UNDERSTAND HOW YOU COULD SAY SOMETHING LIKE THAT THATS TOUR GRANDCHILD YOUR TALKING ABOUT!!!!!!
Everybody was looking at me but I didn't care then Maya finally said something
M:sh Josh calm down its ok I'm here don't worry
When she talked it was so soothing and calmed  me down instantly I sat down on the couch because now I had a pounding headache.
Am: Allan you and I will be having a talk when we get home. My dad groaned.
My mom came over to the couch to see if I was ok I gave her a hug and I could tell something was wrong
J:what's wrong mom
Am: it's just that your my last baby and now your having a baby
J: it's ok mom I'll always be your son
Am: I know but I just wish you could be little again
Maya got up and said
M: dad can I talk to you
S:yea he said with a disappointed look on her face
They walk over to the bay window in their living room
Maya's POV
M: dad I know your upset but you can't just blame Josh it was my fault too
S: I know I just want the best for you
M: i know you do
We walk back over to everyone in the living room and Mrs. Matthews,Topanga and My mom came over and gave me a hug and congratulated me and Josh. I went over and sat next to him I could tell somethings was wrong.
M:what's wrong I questioned
J:I have a pounding headache can you get me some Advil
M: of course
She went into the kitchen and got him Advil and some water. He smiled
When I walked over.
J:thank you
M:your welcome
Everyone left and Josh asked my parents if he could stay over for the night and they said yes. We were about to walk to my room when my dad called Josh over he looked at me and told me to go to the room he would be there in a few.
Josh's POV
I walked over to Shawn and sat across from him
S: you are probably wondering why I got so mad earlier
J: yea I scratched the back of my head
S:well the reason I got so mad was because I love Maya so much and I only want the best for her and when she said she was pregnant and you were the father I thought about  Katy and when she was Maya's age she and kermet (he gaged and I chuckled)had gotten pregnant and you saw how that turned out he left them. I was just worried that you might do the same.
J:Shawn I would never do that to Maya I love her and the baby very much I'm not like kermet.
S:well I'm sorry
J:it's ok
I stared to walk to Maya's room when he stopped me and said
S:no funny business in there got it
J: I chucked got it
I walked into her room to see her on her phone I laid  next to her she put down her phone and gave me a hug. I have her a kiss.
J:goodnight I love you
M:goodnight I love you too
And with that they both fell int a deep sleep.
