Reagan Summerline has never not stood out. Being the only LDS girl in school, things were always complicated. But more importantly, her nineteenth birthday is three months after graduation, and that's when she can leave on her mission. Typically, at 18 or 19, youth of her faith dedicate eighteen months to two years of their lives to serve the community and spread the word of God.
Although, Reagan isn't so sure. Leaving her life for eighteen months is hard to comprehend.
But when Johnson Bailey, a new boy, and the only other LDS person at school submits his own papers, he shows Reagan what not only holding your faith high means, but a new light on the world of service, and what sacrifice is.

This story is an inside look at the Mormon faith. If you have any questions about our faith, feel free to message me, or visit www.lds.org. If you are LDS, welcome. If not, please have an open mind to the world we live in.

(Inspired by Being Sixteen by Allly Condie. Some similarities may be found. I will be editing until this is marked as completed.)
