Katherine's Back.

Damon and Stefan looked at me like I was some kind of freak and then Damon took my hand and started walking me out of the Grill, Stefan behind us. He looked around to make sure no one was looking and vamp sped me into the woods where I found a squirrel.

" What were you thinking?," Stefan asks.

" What do you mean? It's not like I was going to eat it. I mean come on Stefan, squirrels?," I say.

"No. I mean why did you run into the Grill with vampire speed? People could have noticed and then they could ask questions," he retorts.

I look at him and then I sigh and start walking away from both of them. I can hear them following me and then I see a taller guy step in front of me, Klaus. I smirk at him and he does the same and then I hear running from behind me. Damon steps in front of me and Stefan pulls me back but I shake him off and cross my arms.

" Lovely seeing you again Gabriella," Klaus says from in front of Damon.

" You too, such a pleasure. This was fun now why is my brother standing in front of you?," I ask.

" Oh, about that. Yeah, I'm a hybrid and your brothers don't like me very much. Also I might have killed a few people that they knew, almost killed them, and screwed their lives forever, nothing big," he answers.

I look at Stefan and at Damon and roll my eyes, then I turn around and start walking. Klaus is in front of me again in an instant and Damon steps up and pushes him away. " Move."

" Oh, I see. You are the over protective brother of this little one are you not? Of course you are, the boy that cares too much. Well don't worry too much I will just get the sacrifice over with and I will be on my way. Elena is okay with this whole arrangement right?," Klaus asks.

Now Stefan shoves him and the two start fighting which Damon gets into right away. I watch them all and get bored so I vamp speed over to Bonnie's house and I see her standing outside with Caroline and Katherine. Katherine. I clench my teeth and my fists and I run up to her and grab her neck, pushing her against the wall.

" Gabriella! Stop! Stop! It's not Katherine!," Bonnie yells. I release my grip on the girl and then I look back at Bonnie.

" What do you mean it's not Katherine?," I ask.

" That is Katherine's doppelganger, Elena. Elena, this is Stefan and Damon's little sister Gabriella," Caroline fills me in.

" Oh, sorry," I look at Elena with apologetic eyes.

" It's okay, I understand. It isn't the first time that has happened and it certainly will not be the last," she says.

" Anyways, I came over here to see if you guys new about this sacrifice thing. I heard Klaus say something about it. It involves Elena?," I ask.

Everyone looks at me with depressed expressions and then Elena speaks up. " I am Katherine's doppelganger, so I am in the Petrova bloodline. When Klaus and the other originals were created, the first Original Tatia, was used to make them-- she was sacrificed. Klaus is also part of a werewolf bloodline so when you kill the living Petrova doppelganger than the curse is lifted. The curse that keeps inside Klaus' inner wolf."

" Oh, yeah that totally makes complete sense. But why are you going through with this?"

" Because I have to, In order to save everyone I love. And you must know by know that me and Stefan are dating. Klaus might kill him," Elena says.

" You are dating Stefan?" A little hurt comes into my voice and I feel some what betrayed by him.

"Yeah, we have been dating for a while now. But it's cool that he has a sister, and your no longer trying to kill me. Why did you try to kill me?," Elena asks.

" Because back about 150 years ago Katherine Peirce made me and my brothers vampires. And because she did this we were separated. She gave me her blood because she said that people would try to kill me soon-- the day when all the vampires were burned. But I didn't know It would bring people back to life, I thought I was just a survivor when I awoke. When I went to find Stefan and Damon, they were dead on the ground and I couldn't do anything. So Emily Bennett made me a necklace for the sun and I had to be a vampire. She never told me that my brothers would live," I answer.

" I'm sorry," Caroline says.

" It's not your fault, but at least Katherine's dead now."

" Katherine isn't dead. She didn't die that night, a guard helped her escape and she is in Mystic Falls with Klaus," Elena says.

I just look at her like she was an alien and then I vamp speed back to the Salvatore house and run into Stefan. I take a shot at him, punching him in the face, and then I start screaming at him. " KATHERINE'S NOT DEAD! WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME!!!.... AND YOUR DATING THE DOPPELGANGER!!! I THOUGHT YOU LOVED ME STEFAN! I thought you loved me," the last part comes out in a whisper from all the screaming and Damon pulls me off Stefan.

I just stare at Stefan in shock and then I look up at Damon and I run upstairs to my room, locking the door behind me.

For the next few hours everything is okay, until I hear Caroline knocking on my window. I let her in and she sits on my bed and I look at her, raising my eyebrows.

" So, you really don't like Elena do you? I heard about what happened," she begins.

" No. I mean yes. I do like Elena. It's just that, Stefan was the one who would never do anything to hurt me. He dated Katherine which I didn't like, but she made him happy so I liked that. But the reason I lost my family for over a hundred years was because of Katherine, and it's like he is dating her again and-"

" And history repeats itself. Gotcha. But you have to understand that Elena is no Katherine, and Elena makes Stefan happy. Weather he is with her over his love for Katherine or he is with her for her," Caroline says.

" He didn't tell me she was alive. I thought she was gone forever, but her being alive changes everything," I say.

" How come?," Caroline asks.

" Because, if this ritual goes through who do you think will take the place of Elena? What is Stefan going to do?," I say.

" He won't go back to Katherine. I promise," Caroline says.

" Swear on your life?," I ask.

" Swear on my life," she says.
