Matty POV
If you had told seven year old me that in 10 years, he would be spending most of his time waiting in vacant car parks for some dodgy man in his mid-twenties, with the same excitement as he then had for Father Christmas to come bearing gifts on Christmas Eve, then I would have chosen a different path right there and then.
Unfortunately, I find myself in this derelict car park most nights, waiting for Chad to come with baggies full of the things I love most in life. I had only experimented with the basics, falling in love with marijuana and ecstasy, which helped any party run smoothly and maintained any hint of hope for the anxious host, who only held them because they were either trying to get lucky or in an attempt to get back at their snobby parents.
"Matty! Beautiful night isn't it?"
Despite it being summer the sky was thick with clouds, which didn't help the bleakness of the night. The crispness of the cool September air was soon replaced by the strong stench of weed, which attracted Ross and George from Adam's parked van.
Chad smirked at their arrival, clearly humoured by the fact that Adam never joined us when buying from Chad. He'd drive us here no problem but he had never spoken a word to Chad and refuses to leave the car, claiming that he didn't care much for him, but he still had no problem in taking it though.
"Funny one that one." sneered Chad, eyeing Adam who was occupying himself by shuffling through the radio stations.
"Not one for social interaction." Ross lied, eyeing up the little packets George was stuffing into his jacket pockets.
"I've got some things that could help him out easily..."
We all shared a polite chuckle, aware of the fact that he wasn't joking.
"How's everything going?" After the deal is done I attempt to make conversation in a bid to avoid any tension.
"It's going good, gotta big supply coming in soon, I might need some help with it..." he phrased as a question.
I nod to avoid giving him an answer.
I don't sell. I take.
"Here." he says giving me four small white pills in a plastic baggie, engraved with smiley faces, "Make sure you give one to the big guy." he snorts, nodding his head towards Adam and climbing into his car, speeding off, no doubt, to his next sale.
I shrug, turning back to the boys and making my way back into Adam's van. It's an actual miracle that the heating works and if I was a religious man I probably would be thanking God right now. I offer George and Ross a pill, which they gladly take, saving mine and Adam's for later, slipping the baggie into the pocket of my jeans.

Christian POV
Stepping off the bus the heat hits me hard in the face, it's much warmer than usual. Adding to the humidity; thick anxiety and nerves radiate from the first years. I walk around the corner from the bus stop, where the girls and I previously agreed to meet. Being slightly early, I took place on the grass watching the sea of eager students swarm by.
"Christian!" following the voice I see JoJo rushing towards me, her smile wide despite the distress and anxiety I knew she was consumed by.
Her soft, blonde hair was pinned tightly, no doubt taking her a few attempts to get it that way. She looked beautiful in the outfit her and Lolly had spent the 'whole weekend' planning. The fabric of her loose-fitting kimono slit at her bellybutton to show the bottom of her white vest top and acid-washed, denim shorts that I had bought her for her sixteenth birthday.
