Roan and Leta came from different clans, he from Ice and she from Trees. Their love was doomed from the very beginning and yet, they continued to meet in secret at the border of their lands.

Azgeda and Trikru were the fiercest of the warriors that met in battle. Leta looked up to her older sister and held her in high esteem, until an arrow felled her on the battlefield. Unbeknownst to Roan, he merely thought he had slain one of Trikru's generals. Mad with grief, Leta challenges Roan to soulou gonplei. Unwilling to call a stalemate, she lets herself fall upon his blade.

Two days later, Lexa declares the Coalition of the twelve clans.
