We stood at the back. There were supposed to be only 70 people but over 100 came.

I didn't cry until the very end when they closed the curtains around the coffin. It was white with messages written on it from loved ones. The coffin was so small, so tiny.

I kept looking at it thinking, he's is actually in there. Dead, lifeless, laying on his back with his eyes closed. Peaceful in God's watch, awaiting the day God will bring him back to his mother's arms.

When they closed the curtains the cries from his broken mother filled the air. She cried in her husbands arms as she said goodbye to her son for the last time.

More cries filled the room as we all felt the heart ache and pain of having to say goodbye to a son, a brother, a uncle, a nephew, a friend. Someone who was so young to have left us too soon.
