I remember how I remembered
before going to bed
as I look at the stars,
and wish thee upon—
You already took my hand for tomorrow to see mister sun
Out of darkness, out of blue
your light shines brightest
over the stars sparkly due
Oh how I wish stars envy what I can see
that you and me could happen—maybe
Every night it never cease to amaze
I think of it as a symbol of fate
For every people I know falls for one
and everyone think of it— when there is none.
I felt the same unto you
but strangely different.
you surprised me,
not just by night—
but also at dawn.
Hardly ever thought how I'd work
my way up into the sky.
when here alone—
you could already make me fly.
Forever and always are
not what it seems to me
beyond infinity,
is not a romantic place to be
Perhaps we've come across the galaxy
and saw a river of cliché;
But each moment with you
felt like beginnings
within a chapter—
another page
Staring at the night sky
made me wonder why;
comparing you to a star
complimenting my high
It's as if I had to thank for my eyes to see,
Someone who's always been—
a star to me.
