I Need to Get to Know Her|Chapter 2

Liam POV
I'm new in town. I moved here 3 weeks ago. I've only made one friend and that's Mason. So when I got to school I went straight up to him. He was talking to a gorgeous girl I've never seen before.
I went up to Mason and talked about lacrosse just to get a closer look at her.
"Yo Liam hello anyone there." Mason said waving his hand in my face.
"Woah what ummm." I said nervously
Mason looked behind him then looked back at me. "So I see you like Amelia." He said
"So that's her name" I replied. She was so beautiful.
"Yeah good luck with that. You and the rest of the boys in the school have it out for her." Mason stated
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"Amelia's very closed off unless your Scott McCall, Stiles Stilinski, Malia Tate, or Kira Yukimura." Mason said
I was a little upset after I heard that. I was also wondering why she was so closed off. Then the answer came from two gossiping girls. I heard what they said, then I saw what Amelia did. I felt so bad for her.
"Ya she's had a lot happen to her in the past year. Her aunt, mom, and sister died." Mason sadly said.
I saw two boys rush down the hall and bring her into a classroom.
"Who were they?" I asked
"Scott and Stiles their both Juniors." He said
"Which one is her boyfriend?" I asked abit upset cause she was so pretty.
"Neither, Scott dated her sister Allison. They were so in love. Until one day they we're jumped by a gang and she was stabbed to death. And Stiles he's Scott's best friend the go everyone with each other." Mason said
"Wow I want to get to know her." I said with a bit of excitement.
"Good luck with that. Like I did before she's very closed of even to me and I'm her best friend. But I'll see you in class." Mason said then he walked away.
"I need to get to know her." I said to myself after Mason walked away.

Amelia's POV
I forgot how much I hate school. It's so boring. I don't understand why I need to learn about these weird dead people in history.
My next class is math. At least I'm pretty good at that.
I walk in and the only seat open is next to the Liam kid I saw talking to Mason earlier.
I sat down and he turned to me and said "Hey I'm Liam" while reached out his hand.
I looked at his hand then back at him.
"Um hi I'm Amelia" I said awkwardly. I don't like meeting new people. They girls earlier were right. Anyone I love dies and I can't let anyone else die because of me.
"Are you okay? I heard those girls earlier today" Liam asked with a gentle voice.
My head quickly snapped and looked at him. Great the cute boy know my past he knows I'm a ticking time bomb. Isn't that just amazing. I thought to myself.
The teacher walked in before I could answer him.
After school was lacrosse tryouts. I always go to support Scott and Stiles. Even though Stiles never actually plays I give him moral support.
On the bleachers I sat next to Malia and Kira.
"Hey guys" I walked up to them and sat down.
"Hey how was school?" Kira asked while Malia was using a red highlighter to highlight everything in here text book.
"Awful don't even ask why. All I say is I hate gossiping teenage girls." I snapped back at Kira.
"I'm sorry Kira I didn't mean to sound rude it's just..." i started to say but Kira cut me off saying " No need to be sorry Scott told me what happened. I'm so sorry Amelia." Malia then added "who was it? we could just kill them." Kira and I just stared at Malia. "What is that wrong?" Malia asked
"You have a lot to learn Malia" I said shaking my head
Then the boys who were trying out for the team ran out on the field. First I spotted Scott then Stiles. Then Kira started to tell Malia that something happened between her and Scott but I zoned her out. It's not because I didn't care it's because I really like watching Scott and on a rare occasion Stiles play lacrosse.
That's when I spotted him. That's when I spotted Liam.
