"That's me" I chuckled nervously, and even if there were a few people who hadn't noticed me they definitely did now.
"Come here Alexandra and introduce your self" she spoke and I cringed at my full name,
"Alexandra?" Chase snickered and walked backwards to his seat giving me thumbs up and I scowled at him. How I wish he'd trip over something right now.
"It's Alex and you guys seriously still do this?" I questioned and went to sit down next to Chase, who sat at the second last row,
Soft chuckles erupted through the classroom earning me a dirty look from Mrs Jones.
"Alright class since some people want to get straight to work" she paused glaring right at me "we'll start off with a work sheet"
The whole room erupted in groans and I'll admit I was one of them.
As the sheets were handed around Chase started talking to one of the guys on his left, something about convincing him to try joining the football team leaving me to actually do the work sheet.
Gee, thanks Chase.
Sure enough Mrs Jones fell asleep half way into the lesson leaving the whole class to talk and chat all they like.
Round of applause for the level of sophistication provided at Grove Hill's education system.
I felt a tap on my head and turned to the back row which was filled with four guys sitting there smirking at me, and I'm not even joking there's probably something in the air making people significantly more attractive than the rest of the world.
I tried to suck in some air discreetly, but ended up coughing because of the amount of oxygen in my lungs earning me some weird looks form the people around me.
Yeah, nice going Alex.
One of them must've thrown a piece paper at me by the looks of a scrunched up ball on the floor next to my desk.
I turned back around only to feel another tap on the back of my head, I whipped around to see them whistling, looking at everything but me.
Annoyed I turned around once more, I swear to God if they do that agai-
Tap!
I whipped my head around but they were gone.
I looked around the room only to come up with nothing, they had vanished into thin air.
There's obviously a simple explanation for this,
I've lost it,
I'm going nuts,
Out of my mind,
Absolutely mental.
"Alex? Alex?" Chase said, snapping his fingers in front of my face,
I swatted his fingers out of my face, "Yeah I just zoned out, sorry"
"Aww, were you too busy thinking of me?"
"Get over yourself Chase"
"I think you were"
"In your dreams"
"I think you mean in YOUR dreams"
"More like in my nightmares"
"Aw so you do still think of me"
"You a-" I began, but I was cut off by the bell signalling for second period rang.
I said a quick goodbye to Chase before speed walking to my second period class; I do not want to walk into class late again only so I can introduce myself to the whole class.
