01 | "You kind of just face perfect... I mean planted!"

Start from the beginning

The younger one who Megan said was Mia looked around my age, both girls had blonde hair in soft curls both the same length. They wore identical smiles and Mia had hazel eyes whereas Megan had blue.

"Hi!" Mia greeted cheerfully, pulling me into a tight hug,

"Hi, nice to meet you both" I replied.

"Noah's told us so much about you"

"God, nothing good happens when he opens his mouth " I smiled and I got a round of laughs from Mia and Megan while Noah sent me a playful glare.

"Well Alex, Mia and Megan are going to take you shopping and show you around while I get ready for dinner, we're having the rest of our friends over to meet you" Noah spoke up

"Yup, shall we?" Megan said as we started walking to the door.

I gave Noah a hug before I left.

He chuckled softly at that and we made our way to their car.

I know I'm not a car expert, heck, I couldn't identify car brands to save my life, but this car is something else.

There parked in front of the door was a gorgeous red Ferrari, like the ones you see in movies, Megan and Mia hopped in like it was nothing while I stood there and admired it.

"Take a picture, it'll last longer!" Mia called out from shotgun as Megan revved the engine.

I close my gaping mouth and shook my head with a small laugh, I shouldn't be surprised. My brother own a mansion for god's sake.

As we started to drive off Megan spoke first.

"The garage your brother owns and our friends work for is doing pretty well as you can see" referring to the car she was driving.

"You guys work on cars like these?"

"We also make them or upgrade them, it's a long process but it's worth it" she replied, patting the steering wheel proudly.

The rest of the ride was spent on Mia telling me about Grove Hill High, the high school I'm going to start at this semester and how she'll show me around and introduce me to her friends.

It took us around 10 minutes to get to the mall where Mia rushed into every clothes shop around while Megan and I got to know each other a little better as we followed Mia around. After two hour of visiting clothing shops and coming out with a hand full of bags, Mia sat down on a nearby bench and sighed satisfyingly.

"Okay let's go home now, I'm done" Mia spoke.

"Mia, we still have to buy some food for tonight!" Megan scolded as she pulled Mia up to keep walking.

Mia, Megan and I continued to walk until we got to the closest grocery shop, when we walked in Megan pulled out a list and started naming items to get, there wasn't very many so she asked Mia to find a few things and told me to get the last thing on the list which was honey in aisle 3.

After finding aisle three I searched for the honey, it was on the last shelf so I knelt down to pick the right brand. There were bottles of honey stacked together and after finding the brand of honey Megan asked for I was just about to stand up when I felt a hard kick to my leg and a thump on the floor next to me.

I stood up immediately and saw that someone and tripped over my leg while I was kneeling.

"Oh my God I'm so sorry, I sh-" I began rambling as I held out my and to help the guy that tripped over my feet to stand up, usually it's me tripping over my own feet.

I stopped short when the boy took my hand and stood up to face me.

Does anyone else hear angels singing?

"Oh- uh- I-I'm sorry I was in the way an-" I stuttered, staring at his eyes which were a light shade of green with hazel flecks which looked absolutely stunning.

"It's alright, are you okay? Sorry for uh kicking you I guess" he replied running his hand through his brown hair, which was styled messily.

"I- I'm fine, yep, just perfect" I replied, ignoring the pain in my ankle. "W-what about you, you kind of just face perfect... I mean planted!" I mentally face palmed myself.

He didn't get a chance to reply because the sound of laughing filled the air, it wasn't coming from either of us. It was then I realised that I was still holding his hand from helping him up, my face going a bright shade of red, immediately I let go and took a few steps back placing my palms on my cheeks which were now considerably warmer.

The laughter was coming from a young girl, who looked around the age of 5 or 6, she had long blonde hair and a green eyes. I would take a guess and say that they were brother and sister and while their features were very similar, they looked nothing alike.

"Beth!" the boy scolded,

"What?" She replied still giggling and holding her stomach,

"Ignore her, I'm still trying" the boy went back to talking to me, giving Beth one last glare making Beth frown and cross her arms over her chest.

"I'm Logan, and that's Beth" he introduced turning to face Beth who was staring at the food aisle longingly.

Same Beth.

"I-" I was about to introduce myself when I faintly heard Mia calling my name.

"Logan?" She voiced as the rounded the corner, her eyes narrowing down on him and Beth,

"Mia" Logan acknowledged with a smirk,

"And we're leaving" Mia stated as she threaded her arm through mine and began to drag me off.

"Wh- But-" I furrowed my eyebrows, leaving me completely and utterly confused.
