Brooklyn POV
The day went by fast, and I was ready to get in the car with Brandon. After I went to my locker and got my stuff, I said hi to Tati & Dill, Timmy, Vier, and Lucas. Lucas just looked at me, shook his head, then walked out the school. I need to talk to him too. I ran to the car and Brandon was there all up on his girlfriend, Demetria. Ugh I hate that bitchhh. (Her picture is in the mm) I mean she pretty and all, but honestly, in my opinion, she's a gold digger. This is her 24/7 :
"BABYYYY, TAKE ME TO VICTORIA SECRET SO I CAN GET SOME SEXYY PANTIES FOR YOU DADDY."
"DADDY CAN WE GO SHOPPING, I DONT HAVE ANY GOOD CLOTHES!"
"BRANDON CAN WE GO OUT TO EAT, IM HUNGRY AND I WANT RED LOBSTER!"
And yet my brother falls for her little tricks every time.
"Ahem!" I fake coughed. They stopped kissing. Demetria rolled her eyes. Don't try me bitch.
"Aye, wassup." Brandon looked at me.
"What you mean, wassup? You the one who said I couldn't drive to school. You're my ride." I said. He made this face : 😬
"I'll be right back babe." He said. He pulled me to the side, away from her.
"I promised her we would go shopping after school, can you just find another ride, please?" He said.
"Only if I can go on my date with Vier, Saturday." I said smirking. He smacked his lips.
"Mannnn-" I cut him off.
"PLEASEEEEE BRANDONNNN!" I screamed.
"Shut the hell up!" He covered my mouth.
"You can go on your stupid lil date, matter of fact, you off punishment. Just leave me the hell alone. Embarrassing me and shit." He mumbled that last part and walked off to his girl. Ayeeee at least I'm not on punishment anymore😋 I just need to find a ride.

Brook: thank you baby cakes, but Ima find a ride. Trust me🤞🏽
Vier: bet, see you on our date Saturday🤣
Brook: can't wait🙂❤️
I wasn't lying, I really can't wait. Vier seems like a nice guy. And boyfriend material ✅
Brook: Ari?
Ari: yess...?
Brook: did ya leave school yet?
Ari: nope, I gotta detention.
I was about to ask her if she could drop me off at home and I'll wait for her detention to be over, but I saw Lucas walking out of the school.
Brook: dang that sucks, ttyl
I ran over to him.
"LUCASSSSS" I screamed. He saw and ran to his car.
"Wait!" I said. He got in his car and pulled out his parking space. I sighed. What's wrong with my best friend.😕 I started walking home. I don't live extremely far from the school, but it's not a 10 minute walk either. It takes atleast 30 minutes, on feet. I felt a car come up behind me so I started to walk faster. They caught up, and I took off my slides. I started sprinting like I was in a marathon. They just caught up. So I stopped running and tried to catch my breath.
"Brooklyn." I looked over and saw Lucas in his car. He had his window rolled down.
"Yes?" I said with shaky breath.
"Get in."
"Don't have to tell me twice." I mumbled. I got in and put my slides back on. He started driving to my house. I decided to spark up a conversation.
"Lucas?" I looked over at him.
"Wassup?" He looked at me then back at the road.
"Why are you mad at me?" Tears started to form in my eyes. Why? I don't know myself.
"Don't cry bestfriend. It's ok. It was stupid." He said wiping my eyes.
"Just tell me."
"I don't want you to go out with Vier." He said.
"Why?" I said.
"I might get jealous that another boy had your attention." I laughed.
"You're my best friend, Lucas. I love you with all my heart. I will never forget about you. Sure, if me and Vier date, then yea I might spend more time with him. But I won't stop hanging out with you, or texting you, or FaceTiming you. You'll always be my bestfriend and you'll always the leading man in my life." He pulled up to my house and we both got out.
"I love you too, Brookie Bear." He put his arm around me and we walked into my house, to see Demetria and Brandon making out on the couch.
"Just keep walking." I whispered. We went into my room.
"Lucas, I need you to help me." I said.
"With?" He said.
"My date with Vier."
He groaned.
"Why me?"
"Please, bestfriend?" I said.
"Whatever."
"He's taking me out to eat, sooo...." I said. "Should I wear this, this, this, or this?"
