She would not break others, nor would she be broken. She would stand tall, not weak and small. She would not cower, nor surround herself with fake friends and fake people who would stab her in the back if they saw a chance.
She had pride and problems and private grievances. But most of all she had people. People around her, below her, above her. She would not take them for granted. Nor overindulge with them and their lies. For people lie, like I need sleep at the end of the night. And this day will be but a blip in the long string of life. A place for her to visit on other days like this and to wallow in self pity.
