{Shawn's POV}
I slowly walk back over to Matt with our drinks, who was talking to Ian and Geoff.
"Hey guys." I fake a smile.
"I was just telling them about the song you're going to sing in a bit." Ian says.
"I thought we were keeping it a secret?" I chuckle.
"Come on they have to know." Ian laughs.
"Come on Shawn tell us!" Matt jokes.
"Okay so about two months ago Ian Skyped me whilst I was touring in Europe and he wanted me to help him write a song and perform it for their first dance." I say. "They're all Ian's words I just put it into a song."
"Sounds brilliant." Geoff says.
"I better go get ready and set up." I reply, Ian you better go find your bride.
"I think she's talking to Lexi by the bar." Geoff says.
"I'll go then, Geoff make sure people know it's about to be the first dance." Ian says.
"You got it bro."
I set up my guitar in the corner, as Geoff clears the dance floor for the newlyweds.
In a few moments everyone was circling the dance floor and Olivia and Ian emerged hand in hand. I passed the microphone over to Ian.
"So instead of having a typical love song for our first dance, I asked Shawn to help me put all my thoughts and feelings into a song."
I smile awkwardly at the faint cheering.
"It's called Try My Best. I hope you two love it." I say, as Ian passes me back the microphone and I put it on the stand.
He puts his arms around her and I begin to play.
"I'm way across the coast, awake in bed and I wonder

I look up to see if Lexi was still there, she saw me briefly... before she shook her head and ran out the back door.
