Chapter 2: Laurens I Like You Alot

John's POV

I could feel the nervousness in my body build up as I opened the door to my dorm. I was hoping to god that my room mate wasn't rude or messy (Not that I'm the most organized person in the world). I slowly opened the door to see a unbelievably cute boy who's top of my head probably reached the middle of my neck. His hair was dark, shoulder length and smooth. When I first walked in i said hello a couple of time and he hasn't responded. He just stood there... Staring at me... I started to feel self conscious. After I waved my hand in front of his face and said hello for like the 4th time he came out of the gaze and just immediately turned around. I wonder why I thought. He turned back around and said

"H-Hi I-I'm Alexander Hamilton"

I politely introduced my self to Hamilton. Then he asked if me if he needed me to show me my room. I just shook my head and said "Nah I'm fine" (BTW I'm sorry if this dialogue is a little inconsistent from the last chapter but hopefully you get the basic gist). I walked to my room and started unpacking my bags. But, I had a feeling of eyes burning into my back. when I turned around I saw Alex typing on his computer. I turned back around and started unpacking my last bag. When I went to go talk to Alex to see if we can get to know each other a bit more when I saw him passed out on his bed. "He looked so adorable asleep" I thought. I sat on the couch bored out of my mind when i thought of two people who can liven up the night. I grab my phone and text Laf and Herc.

LaurensInThePlace2B: Hey Laf and Herc I'm bored out of my mind come over now!!!!

4SetsOfCorsets: Ok jeez don't have to be so demanding

McDonaldsFrenchGuy: Oui mon am... but I'll be right over

LaurensInThePlace2B: Ok see you guys soon

when I'm done throw my phone on the couch when I hear pounding footsteps in the hall. I roll my eyes and think "Oh, God I know who that is" a millisecond after my thought Laf bursts through the door shouting "WHAT TIME IS IT???!!!" after that Herc comes in with the same amount of energy and loudness as Laf "SHOWTIME?!!!!!!" I whisper shout at them "Shut up you idiots my room mate is asleep" that's when Alex walks out

"Was asleep"

I shoot a glare at their confused faces

"Sorry about my idiot friends Alex.. But since your awake this is La-"

"Bonjour mon nom est Marie-Joseph Paul Yves Roch Gilbert du Motier de La Fayette, Marquis de La Fayette. Je suis de france évidemment et c'est mon compagnon de chambre hercules mulligan" (Hello my name is Marie-Joseph Paul Yves Roch Gilbert of the Motier de La Fayette, Marquis of La Fayette. I am from France of course and it is my roommate hercules mulligan)Laf says with a smirk on his face. that's when Alex responds

"Agréable de vous rencontrer mon nom est Alexander Hamilton comme vous pouvez dire que je suis colocataire de john. Est hercules votre colocataire?" (Nice to meet you my name is Alexander Hamilton as you can tell I'm roommate of john. Is Hercules Your Roommate)Alex says

Herc and i just stand there with our eyes wide and jaws dropped. I knew what Laf was trying to do he does that to everyone new he meets but I think this time the joke is in him. Alex was looking at us weirdly when a smirk crept on his face. He knew what Laf was trying to pull

"Y-You speak F-French" Laf stutters out

"Oui mon ami" Alex responds

Laf just stood there. Eventually he let out a scream which made me and Herc jump and said

"J'ai finalement quelqu'un que je peux parler à ces imbéciles ne peuvent pas parler français" (i finally have someone i can talk to these imbeciles can't speak French)

I had no idea what he was saying but it made Alex chuckle

"Well I can tell we are going to be good friends" Alex said

After he turned to me and said "Hey John I know you just for here and all but I was wondering if

You want to hang out" he said while rubbing the back of his neck

I could feel my face flush red and I looked down. I looked over to see Laf whispering something to Herc while looking at me and smirking then I see a smirk appear on Herc's face and look at me.

"U-Uh sure" I stammered

Then we all just stood there looking at the floor until Laf joined in and said

"Well Herc and I should be going" he said with a grin

"Bye john... bye Alex friend or should I say friend in law" he says while nudging me. I shoot him a  glare and push them out of the dorm. Once they leave Alex and I just stood there awkwardly. when I checked the time I noticed it was 11:30 pm. So I say

"Well it's getting late I think I'm gonna go to bed" I said that just to get out of the situation.

"Ok... Well goodnight" Alex says

I close my bedroom door and change into sweats and a T-Shirt. As I lay down I hear typing on a computer. I assume it's coming from Alex's room so I just shrug it off telling my self he'll go to sleep eventually. Boy was I wrong

A/n a not so cliffhanger cliffhanger if you guys have read other fan fictions you know what's coming. but for those people who don't know plz don't spoil in it. I'll publish the next chapter soon btw it's 982 words.
