AXEL P.O.V

I had called the lone wolf pack yesterday to learn more about John they'd been looking for him for a while and Everytime they get a lead he seems to disappear.
We told them we'd join in and help them I wouldn't let him get away with hurting Alex.

Tyler's pack also agreed to help

I woke up when there was a loud knock on the door.

I looked around to see I was in my office I must've fallen sleep yesterday

"Come in" I said loudly

Then the door opened slowly I looked up to see my mate he had wrap all over his stomach and he was wearing boxers

" Alex what are you doing up " I said walking over to him

He wrapped his arms around my neck​ I stood in shock as he hugged me

"Alex" I said he hugged me tighter

I cautiously wrapped my arms around his fragile body

"Are you okay " I said he pulled away from the hug looking up at me

"Yeah I'm fine " he said wincing slightly standing probably wasn't doing him any good.

"Alex we have to talk about what happened out there " I said he looked unsure but nodded

I set him in my work chair an I sat on the desk

"Do you remember who hurt you" I asked admiring my mates wounded body

He was still very pale and had dark bags under his eyes

He was terribly skinny and his hair was a mess

" His name was john" he said looking down at his hands

"Where did you stay with him " I asked he looked up at me and looked afraid to speak

"In a tree house by the waterfall" he said I nodded and mindlinked Tyler

"Have your men check for a treehouse by the waterfall" I said I looked back down at Alex

I got down from the desk and switched places with Alex

I kissed his neck and began to trail kissed down his chest

I got to the waist band of his pants

He tangled his fingers in my hair and leaned his head back in pleasure

I kissed along the waistband of his boxer

"Axel" he moaned then the door opened and I saw Tyler standing there

" Oh I'm so sorry" he said looking away

Alex blushed crimson red I chuckled and kissed him

"Go get some rest" I whispered he nodded and walked out

" Now what do you need Tyler " I said

" We found the treehouse but it was empty we only found this picture " he said handing me a photo of a small boy

He couldn't be more the 8 years old

"Is this the little boy he killed " I asked looking at the photo again

"Yes" he said

I hadn't known the kid but I felt a sting in my chest and sadness crowd my head

"Thanks Tyler " I said he nodded and walked out

I stood up setting the picture on my desk I walked outside and shifted into my wolf form

I ran along the waterfall until I saw a small street house

I shifted back into my human form and slipped the shorts and shirt on I had tied to my legs

I walked slowly up to the latter seeing the blood of my mate

I could imagine my wounded mate falling from the ladder onto the ground

I looked along the trees to see bloody handprints

I imagined my mate touching the trees as he ran

I slowly went up the ladder to see a blood spot and a stab mark in the wood

I could imagine my mate fighting off the dark shadow

I sighed walking back down the ladder

I got back to the pack house and went up to my room

I laid in my bed and drifted to sleep
