Lauren's wedding was now a week away and I was a complete mess to say the least Luis had made it his point to keep her as far away from me as possible and the last thing that I had heard about her from Angela was that they were vacationing in Hawaii Knowing how easily I could have hopped on a Jet and found who I know know could possibly be my soulmate I decided against it I was just giving up and going to let things be and for as much as I hated Luis there was literally nothing that I could do so I gave up.

I was in my Art Studio mixing paints and listening to soft music when a knock on the door startled me from my work I glanced at my phone and almost blacked out when I saw the name

"Lauren" it read

"hello..." I said almost hesitantly

"Hi its Lauren can you open your door?" she asked and it sounded as if she either was crying or had been I quickly ran to the door  opening it to two suitcases and the woman I had fallen in love with was standing before my eyes

In words escaped my mouth I was too much in shock to even say hello

"May I come in?" she asked her eyes were red and puffy her skin pale it seemed as if the color in her eyes had faded to a light Grey

I moved aside and allowed Lauren to walk inside I took her bags and set them aside before returning my gaze to her

"What happen-"

"Please don't ask me that... Not now I can't " she whimpered as she fell into my arms burying her face deep in my chest as she cried silently I felt her tears fall onto my skin I held Lauren in my arms as she wept I knew that she wasn't fully ready to tell me what had happened but I could probably guess..

I was in the living room stroking the fire with a metal fire poker when the subtle creak of the door turned my attention to the door. There in the doorway stood Lauren she had just showered and changed into clothes that were more comfortable for her her hair though past her shoulders was wet 

"Hi" she whispered

"Hey, come in here"   I said as I gestured for her to come closer we both sat down by the fire as I poured two glasses of Strawberry Champagne  Lauren watched quietly as I handed her her glass she didn't hesitate to quickly gulp it down before asking for more 

"Wait ,wait slow down  slow down" I said as I poured her another glass

"I'm sorry I just.. I just want to forget everything" she said as she stared at her glass

"Forget what? you're getting marr-"

"No, No

"I'm not marrying him I can't not when I love.." 

I glanced up at her with a raised brow "You love...?"

"Because I love you you idiot I thought you knew that"  she said harshly

"No, No I knew that but Lauren.. we've only just met a few months ago... are you sure  you want to ruin your marriage" I asked those words  are the words that I didn't want to say but I couldn't be selfish I was only thinking about myself and what I wanted but I also thought about Lauren and her family how much they loved Luis and had their hearts set on Lauren marrying him it hurt my heart to even think this way but what else could I do? 

"Stop, I know you don't mean that" she replied as I stood up and glanced out of the window seeing the beautiful Miami Skyline only made me realize how in love with Lauren I was but also that I couldn't do anything

"Tell me you don't mean that!"  she restated  as she blocked my path 

"Lauren please"  I said my voice cracking as I attempted to hold back tears

"Look at me! I came back here because Luis put his hands on me! I don't want to marry someone like that! I came back because I want you! I love you!" she shouted as she gently placed my head in her hands "I came back because I want to be with you" she said before I felt her soft lips attached to mine our kissing became more intense and more passionate I picked Lauren up and gently placed her back against the wall as our kissing turned more and more passionate by the second

"I love you" she husked as I cut her words off as We continued kissing

"I love you too"
