PROLOGUE

I know I can do it.

I am fast, fast like the wind. No one can match me from my faction.

Sweat dripped from my face. This pressure, this excitement, I am finally feeling it.

The smell of blood, the sweet salty iron that it expels, the red liquid that has tainted me ever since. I know, I can again see it.

I hid from the shadows in the corner of the room.

Sitting on his large black letter sofa, he seems so careless and has not taken notice that I am even inside his room. An idiot.

His silver hair flowed from his head. His broad chest is rising now and then. One of his knees is arced up while his other leg is comfortably resting on his large sofa. Completely defenseless.

I slowly crept leaving no sound that even an insect cannot hear.

I jumped unto him and raised my dagger towards his neck.

Suddenly I was startled that he opened his rose-colored eyes and has even no signs of panic. I was taken aback.

But it was too late.

He grabbed my wrist holding the knife. He pulled me and we both fell to the cold floor.

"Ackkk!!!" I huffed.

Suddenly, it is now the opposite. He is on top of me. Pinning my hips through his long legs, his hand is holding the wrist which has my knife. His other hand is at the side of my head.

"Well... well... look who is here." He smiled devilishly.

Hidden from the side of my pocket is another knife. I reached out to get.

"You think you can do that easily huh?" He slapped my free hand and also pinned it against the marble floor.

Shit. I will not be defeated that easily!!

He looked at me as if it was the most natural thing in the world.

He smirked. "Those translucent skin and deep dark eyes and hair, you must be Fujin of the Headhunts. One look and I really thought that you were a girl. True are the rumors that say Fujin of the Headhunts looks like a goddess from his looks but is a blood-seeker. But well..." He slowly neared his mouth to my ear. "Shall we have a delicious dinner tonight?" He whispered with delight.

A sudden pang of pain hit my shoulder just near my neck. His teeth bit my flesh. I felt blood oozing from my side.

It was all too fast. I could not believe I would be defeated this easily.

I gritted my teeth as I feel some of my flesh being torn away.

Fuck!!! Of course, this is no new that even the leader of the Stipz is infected of the C-virus.

My sight started to refocus because I could feel it starting to become blurry. I closed my eyes and slowly tried to shake all the pain I am experiencing at the moment. I have never felt pain for the longest time now.

I opened my eyes and was baffled by what I saw.

With so many questions from my head, I stiffened as the wolf neared its face to mine.

The wolf left a big howl. It was looking above.

Through my reflexes I twisted my arm holding the knife and got it free. I shoved it to the front leg of the wolf.

The wolf stopped his howling and looked at me. It gritted his teeth and let out an angry snarl.

You fuck!! I heard him say.

It all happened to fast. The only last thing I remember was my right free arm getting crushed by the large paw of the wolf. I heard a few cracking sounds of bones from it. Then I drifted to unconsciousness.
