Born To Die, the song, is about a relationship with an older man.
"Feet don't fail me now..." "At the gates.." She is trying hard to get his attention. "You like your girls insane..." She is doing it all for him similar to video games, which we'll talk about later. "We were born to die..." She would die for him, with him, all she needs is his love. But "Sometimes love is not enough and the road gets tough." She is failing at trying to get at him and is starting to lose faith. This is shown through the change in tempos, and slowing down. "Why? Who me?" Refers to the man asking why he is the one.
