Rashad is so disrespectful, he needs to watch what he's doing because he ain't slick.
"Babe are you okay?" Chris asked, walking back out after me.
"I can assure you, after we work with him for this event, don't let him anywhere near our house again."
"You got it. I still don't like him. This is just about the money and we also get to help a cause. But if anything inappropriate happens, you can bet that this plan gets canceled."
"It better be, we have to talk later though," she said pecking his lips before going back over to back over to the shallow end of the pool to play with the kids for a while.
• Chris •
I wonder what Kim had to talk to me about but I was about to question it because the fact that she gave me a kiss told me that she wasn't mad. It couldn't be that bad.
Midway back to pool she turned back to me and gave me a side smirk, so then I knew that I might actually like this "talk" that we have to have later on. I winked at her and puckered my lips at her, blew her an imaginary kiss.
"Yall know yall not invisable right?" Kareem said standing beside me at the grill.
"So, we're married," I smirked, saying the same thing that I just told Kim.
Kareem laughed, "so how many kids you trying to have."
"I want a whole basketball team, if she let me."
"You know that shit ain't happening," he laughed out loud, "you'll be lucky if she even let you get one more in there."
"Whatever man, I'll get it, believe me," I assured him, "but you need to be worrying about settling down soon, you almost thirty son."
"What my age gotta do with anything? Everybody don't find the "one" that they are suppose to spend there life with and I'm convinced that I'm meant to be single and enjoy this single life," he smirked.
"This single life is gonna bite you right back in the ass too, if you think you can be 50 and fucking any female you want then you're dead wrong. That stage only last but so long."
"Whatever man, when I'm ready I'll be ready."
"Just don't be a hypocrite."
"Nigga, you better be lucky that I was a hypocrite, otherwise yo ass wouldn't have this life."
"Don't take credit for my success," I said laughing while punching him in the arm.
"Nigga I ain't taking credit for how slow you are because it took you forever to get with Kim."
"But the whole point is I'm with her now. Maybe this is how everything is suppose to happen, otherwise I wouldn't have known how much I really loved her and needed her in my life."
"Uh, maybe this is suppose to be how my life is suppose to go also too. So don't pressure me."
"Well I suppose that I am suppose to do the same for you as you did for me."
"I only did it because I seen who you were meant to be with, shit, everyone seen that shit but your remedial ass and she has been sitting right under you fat ass nose for years. You don't see who I'm supposed to be with so you can't do what I did."
"Whatever. That's gonna be your own lonely miserable life so that's your problem because people don't always come to you, you have to do some of the work."
"Says the ungrateful one that had his other half hand delivered on a silver platter by God himself."
"Hey, I may have been stubborn," I corrected Kareem, "but never once, was I ungrateful. I just never thought I deserved her."
