I never meant to make Kim cry, I had to get my insecurities in check because if I didn't I was going to destroy everything I've worked for. I laid there the whole night holding Kim, my mom always to me not to let my woman go to sleep upset. I whispered my apologies over and over to her all night until she forgave me, she told me that I had to calm down and trust her as she trusted me, and fell asleep in my arms.

It was a Saturday and Kira and I had brunch on Saturdays, so I was getting ready for that while my mother was over watching Kimora, CJ, Kayin. and Jayden. Chris made sure he kissed me in the morning and told me he was sorry again. I was fine, I just had make sure he knew where he stood with me and to never doubt me again.
Anyway, I was all dressed in a Floral print sleeveless secretary blouse and a pair of creme Easy Jeans both from American Apparel. And a pair of rose colored Blaze of Glory pumps from Chinese Laundry.
"Damn baby, you look good," Chris said walking in to the room, "you and Kira be putting fashion shows whenever yall go somewhere."
I laughed out and shook my head. We just both share the love of fashion and even when we're having a chill day with sweats and all, we still never look bummy. And that was why I was happy to have daughter, she was my mini-me and I loved dressing her, as for CJ, I loved Chris' style so his closet was coming like a twenty one year old's. But don't get me wrong they had clothes that was age appropriate, just stylish.
Just as I was making my way downstairs my cell phone rang.
"Hello?" I answered, continuing toward the living room.
"Bring yo ass outside, I'm in the drive way!" That was Kira with her loud ass. I loved her though.
"Calm down, I have kids and a husband to kiss good-bye."
"Okay, I'm waiting. But don't make me come in there after you because you're always overreacting when you leave the house without them, like you ain't coming back in years." And with that she hung up. I laughed at how impatient she was at time.
When I hopped in her car she pulled out of the driveway.
"I'm hungry, I wouldn't rush you for no reason."
We drove up to New York to have brunch at Haven Rooftop at Sanctuary Hotel. I love the scenery at this place, the decor and cuisine altogether was a beautiful atmosphere. The first time I ever been here was when Chris brought me on our first proper date as a couple and I fell in love with it ever since.
"So what you been up too girla?" Kira asked me after the waiter took our drink orders.
"Work & planning this vacay."
"Oh yeah, so where to this year?"
"Florida. First a Disney Cruise then to Disney World."
"Perfect!" she smiled and it widened when our drinks arrived, "that was quick."
"Are you ladies ready to order your food?" The waiter asked, smiling politely.
"Yes," Kira started, "I'll have the Branzino."
"And I'll have the Pan Seared Salmon," I smiled handing over my menu as did Kira.
"What's been up with you though?" I asked her taking a sip of my Passionate Affair Cocktail.
"Planning this wedding still. But I'm almost done, thank god," she said sipping on her Viva La Vida Cocktail, "mmm, which reminds me, we have dress fitting coming up on the 30th."
