Chapter 8-

-Dani's P.O.V.-

I woke up and looked towards my window. The sun shone through so bright it was blinding. I look over at my bedside clock to see it showed 11:00am. It was one of my days off and I finally got to sleep in.

I looked over to see Gage laying on the other side of my bed. "Hey Boy! I didn't even know you jumped in the bed last night" I smiled and pet him. I jumped up, decided I'd run some errands today and maybe swing by and visit Anthony and the boys at the studio.

I walked into the bathroom and brushed my teeth and I quickly hopped into the shower. My hair was still wet so I just brushed it through and pulled it up into a messy bun.

It was a 95°, summer, California day.  So I tried to find something cool to wear. I went through my closet. I found some short jean shorts with white lace, and my black - strap around the ankle sandals. Now just for a top... hmm..  I found my open side Pink Floyd tee or a white crop top.

"Which one?" I held them up, Gage sitting right in front of me. "Which one boy?" I asked holding up one at a time to show him. He lifted his paw and placed it in the white crop top. "Good boy! Thank you. Good decision" I laughed.

I put the outfit on, "ready to go out?" I asked Gage. He jumped up and down and howled. He ran for the front door and grabbed his leash. I just laughed at him, clipped his leash onto his collar and out the door we went, starting our Day.
I stopped at the local café and grabbed a frozen strawberry lemonade. I walked a few blocks and finally came to the boys' studio.

I stopped in and stopped at the front desk. "Hello, I'm here to see Anthony Kiedis" I said to the man behind the counter. "Sorry, lady. We don't have anyone by that name." He said, "Well, the band is The Red Hot Chili Peppers. Maybe they're listed under that?" I asked. "Nope. Sorry" he said.

"Okay, I know this is the right studio" I said aloud. I got on my phone right then and called Anthony. "Hey! What's up?" He answered, "Hey, you're at the studio on 4th, right?" I asked. "Yeah, why?" He said, "Well, I'm here in the lobby and they're trying to tell me they have no record of you guys anywhere" o said as I purposely looked at the guy behind the desk. "I'll be out to get you" Anthony laughed and hung up.

Anthony walked out into the lobby from behind some studio door. "Hey, hun" he said and gave me a kiss, "Hey" I kissed him back and smiled.

"This is my girl, so from now on you let her in. Do whatever you gotta do, put her name on a list or whatever shit. Her name's Dani. Just don't ever turn her away again" Anthony said firmly to the guy behind the desk.

"Yes Sir, I'm very sorry" the man said writing down what I assumed was a note to let me in from now on. This whole situation I felt was just proof that they were quickly rising up the fame chart.

"Aww. My man's all tough for me" I teased and kissed Anthony, "You want me to kick his ass for you?" He smirked. "Nah, I think we'll let him slide this time" I said and we just laughed. He opened the door and we headed back into their studio room.

I walked in ahead of Anthony. "Hey, Dani!" Said Hillel, "Hey, Slim!" I said as he hugged me. (Hillel I've noticed is always the type to hug. I immediately from the first time we met, knew he was a very sweet and caring guy.) "Hey! How are you?" And that kind of thing came from the rest of the room.

"I'm good, thanks. How's it coming guys?" I asked with a smile, "Great actually! Check it out!" Said Anthony. They hit one of the soundboards and started playing back a song they had just recorded.

Played from the sound system.

"That's... funky. I love it" I smiled, "Really? Thanks!" Ant said excitedly. "Yeah! So what's the album gonna be called?" I asked, "Blood Sugar Sex Magik" he grinned. "Well that's interesting. Sick, but interesting" I chuckled.
