Produce 101: Profiles [Season 2]

vi. New theme song + First broadcast date announced!

It has been revealed that the new theme song for the second season of Produce 101 is entitled "Me, It's Me" produced by hitmaker Ryan Jhun (who also produced "Crush" and "Fingertips" for season 1 and "Whatta Man" for the debut group IOI). The song is a powerful dance track which aims to showcase the boys' manly charms and dance skills.

The contestants already completed recording their stage for M Countdown yesterday, and tgeir performance is scheduled to be broadcasted tonight (9th March). [cr. allkpop]

Relatively, a trainee from Brand New Music has taken the centre spot for the new theme song, which we will also get to see later on their performance on M Countdown! [cr. Soompi]

▪ Official broadcast date will be on 7th April (Friday) at 11PM KST which will replace "High School Rapper" on its current time slot. [cr. Soompi]
