Chapter Twenty-nine

Nicolette POV

Then it was. It really happen as my bestfriend's dream to be fulfill. As she wish, Arkin made this for her. And my wrath on him is fading after he made my bestfriend come back her happiness. I'm happy too and for the first time, I'd ride on a Ferris Wheel. Hehehe.

We keep on talking and talking until it last. It takes 10 minutes. Then by the time, we ate outside, at the Square field. A New Year's picnic. We sat on a mantle on a plain grass and eat those prepared food.

Arkin sit beside my bestfriend while eating some fried fish with tomatoes inside. "Hi." Arkin said looking at my bestfriend.

"Hello." My bestfriend said while eating.

"Did you enjoy the Ferris Wheel experience?" Arkin asked on her.

Then my bestfriend glances. Smile and asking, "What do you think?"

"Hm." Arkin is thinking with a smile.

"Just kidding. Yes, I really like that. It's an achievement."

What I see is all happiness. No heartbreaks, just happiness. Everything's happen between Arkin and my bestfriend on that moment are in favors. We likely to see them talking. My bestfriend doesn't sowed any wrathful things to Arkin that's why I really believes on her. She's very kind.

It's about 8:26 in the evening and there's still almost four hours before the year end. Spent more! Then after things that surprise my best friend on the Carnival, she taught that it was the finale and time to bring her back home. She didn't know that the most awaited main course is coming.

I saw to Uncle and Auntie that they're happy, even them has been surprised although that they know this, they didn't expect that their daughter become happy like this. We go back to the van. Arkin and his band mate walk behind us. Talking something guy talks so I won't join. They both assisting us. My bestfriend knows that we about going home. Excitedly and happy to go home but,

She asked while on the van hesitated, "Arkin, where do we go? That's not the way on our home." Then all of us laugh.

She was confused. Asking again, "What's funny?"

The father said, "Just condition yourself."

"Yeah, right." Arkin said at motion. Smiling while sitting on the front seat. Then he added talking to his friend, "I will tell Dio that we are coming near."

"What was that?" My bestfriend keep on asking anyone around her. She really want to know those things happen but she can't recognized what is it? Wondering if there is another surprise. She still holding the sunflowers and she really loves it. Well, it's a surprise. Even me, I don't know what is the surprise about and look-like. I'm wondering too.

Then after almost another 15 minutes of travel. Finally arrived in a luminance place.

"We are here." Poro the driver said.

Then my bestfriend look on what place is that. "It looks familiar." She said while still inside the van. The glass door are tinted so she can't full know what place is that.

Arkin answer her, "Of course, you had been here before." Then Poro open up the sliding door of the van and we all looks on it.

"Is this the place, son?" The father asked Arkin. Looking outside.

"Yes sir." He answer the question.

"That was the . . . Oh my . . ." I exclaimed and then I asked Arkin, "Did you perform here? Seriously?" I'm surprised too.

Then he tell the place to my bestfriend's parent. "This is where we perform, welcome to the Dawnchase." For the Dawnchase is a high-class disco bar. Though Arkin came from a wealthy family, it's not differ and surprise for him to perform this such luxury place.

Then I saw my bestfriend, crying again. She's still at the van. Looking at the entrance of the bar.

Dio, the guy we met on park was there. "Hey Dio, Poro's about to parked his HiAce. Thank you all for this."

"It's just a little thing, Arkin." Dio said. Putting his hand next to Arkin's shoulder.

"Tell the band backstage that we're about to start. I'm here now with the Maven."

Now, I had realize what Arkin plan all about.

He came to the van while my bestfriend sitting and crying for unknown reason.

I asked her. "Why did you cry?" I'm worrying why she cry.

"I'm just very happy. I can't believe that it will happen." She answer. And though she know what's going on that very moment.

Arkin ask her with encouragement, "Can you sing?"

"I will do my best. I really do my best." She answer with encouragement. Nothing can beat the night.

"The Dawnchase is waiting . . . come aboard!" Arkin said, excitedly.
