"Fuck, I don't get this shit." Mercedes cursed.

"Get what?" Arnell asked while walking over to her.

"This damn algebra homework. How does one equation have three different letters?" She questioned. "Makes no damn sense."

Damitri was making her do her homework because he was going to drop it off at the school later.

"You take two equations, cancel out one letter, take another equation, cancel out the same letter, take the two new equations, cancel out another letter, figure out what the last letter is equal to, and then put it back into one of the original equations."

"Whaaaaa?"

"I'll help you." Arnell chuckled.

Arnell looked up and saw Tasia walking out of Damitri's bedroom. "What are you doin'?" Arnell asked Tasia. She was wearing his clothes.

"What it look like?" Tasia scoffed. It took every bone in Arnell's body to not jump across the table and slap the shit out of her.

"You brought a whole bag of clothes, why you wearin' his?" Arnell asked.

"'Cause I like his clothes better." Tasia shrugged."Why do you care?"

"Cause that's my man, fuck you mean?"

"You needa chill out." She said placing her hand on her hip and snaking her neck.

Before Arnell could say anything back, Damitri walked in with Anthony.

"I'm back--" Damitri started up. "Are those my shorts?" Damitri asked Tasia. Arnell watched as Tasia stood there smiling like a dumb ass.

"Ant, what you doin' here?" Arnell asked her brother.

Anthony opened his mouth to talk.

"Anthony, come here real quick." Damitri said. He purposely called him over so he couldn't tell Arnell what he was doing there. Arnell didn't care. She was going to find out eventually.

TWO WEEKS LATER.

Arnell was on the bed scrolling through Twitter. Damitri told her she couldn't post anything until he got things straightened out. Arnell didn't know when that would be, It'd already been two weeks since she been there. She couldn't stand being crammed into a house full of people who she couldn't stand. She was still allow to text Maggie, though.

Damitri busted in the room. "Aye they orderin' Chinese food. What you want?"

"Nothing." She simply said still tapping on her phone.

"You need to stop trippin' I don't have time to be babyin' yo ass right now." He told her. "Either you wit me or nah."

"Nigga, I shot at someone for you, so don't tell me I'm not with you." Damitri looked down at the floor and tried not to laugh. "Fuck you laughin' for, Meech?"

"You a badass." He said smiling. Arnell rolled her eyes. "So, you gone sit in here and pout all day?"

"Yuh."
