I walked to my seat and sat down normally. All of a sudden, my vision went. And again. It was as if the world turned black for a split second about ten times a minute.
Panicked, I turned to my friends, "the lights." Their faces, only blank expressions showing their confusion. "Flickering?" When they answered with no, I panicked even more. My vision kept flickering on and off, the classroom disappearing from right in front of me, more often now.
Everything vanished from view one more time and I freaked and asked in a terrified tone, "why does my vision keep flickering?"
When I heard the laughs from the other students, I knew the answer:
"You're blinking."
Luckily, this is NOT a true story 😂
