Bloody Bash (Part I)

It happened like an obsession, like a bullet. It was a desire to figure out how he liked me, why he did? My passion for finding out why everytime I look at him, all I see are fangs and blood, how he reminds me of someone. Why I couldn't help but stare.

This entire week has been driving me crazy.

It all started on Saturday, the ending of the week ahead. It was odd but wonderful. It was my birthday, I knew that everyone in school would be there since I'm friends with Serena Calvinson, also known as the most popular girl in school. But she didn't have a clique that would follow her around like slaves. She stood by me, Ivy and Flora. We all were best friends since kindergarten, literally, we were friends since kindergarten.

Saturday wasn't really a special day since I do the same thing every year, wake up, get dressed and go hang with my friends and then they try and surprise me with a party. It was the same thing every year.

"Imogen, wake up!" Shouted a little fourteen-year-old Olivia, she would be going to high school this year. She would be a freshman while I would be a senior ready for college. Well as my mother says, "What's the rush?" But as most parents don't understand, the rush is to get out of your house. Nobody wants to constantly do things they're told to by someone who is not their boss.

"Olivia, please," I begged before she moved off of my bed making her way towards the maroon colored curtains. She pulled them lightly, the sun rays blasted in my face nearly burning off my skin. The sun was very bright, for a sun wasn't expecting it to nearly kill me while I'm on earth.

"Don't make me get Naomi, she kicks you outta bed." Olivia threatened when I remembered that Naomi was only one year younger than me that she would literally put her foot on me and kick me out of bed. I tried to move, but I was too stiff. Slowly I pushed the comforter off of me, I kicked it onto the floor, it's new home.

A smile landed on my lips when the smell of pancakes and bacon hit my nostrils.

"Happy Birthday Imogen," Olivia shouted burning my ears.

Olivia was basically a child in the body of a fifteen-year-old, she was still young in my own opinion, but she was a wonderful child who knew how to make me smile.

"Thank you, darling," I said stretching out my body. I need a shower to get my day started.

"Happy Birthday, Bestie," Serena said.

Serena had that gorgeous rich brown hair with a hint of blonde tips, she looked amazing with it on. She looked beautiful especially with those blue eyes in her sockets. Her plush lips were covered in pink lipgloss, her smile was slightly wide but beautiful. Her hair was out, in small waves. A pair of white sunglasses was locked above her hair like a headband, she wore a white romper with small straps, I could see the teal blue straps that belonged to her bra. She held a couple of shopping bags which I hope isn't for me since shopping isn't really my thing.

"Happy Birthday, sis," Naomi said wearing a black tank top and a pair of denim shorts, she had worn a red sleeveless hoodie on top of it. She wore black converse on her feet and her hair was in a ponytail locked with a black ponytail holder that was almost hard to see. Naomi stood in the doorway.

"I brought you a birthday outfit that you have to wear tonight," She said pulling out a sweetheart neckline lace-up back butterfly corset, it was colored teal. It was absolutely beautiful for whatever their planning tonight. There was a pair of black heels with straps to go along with the dress.

"That's beautiful," I said getting up out of bed ready for my shower.

"Well, your mother thought about making breakfast but I told her were going to the cafe, we're all going except for your parents since they have plans for tonight," Serena said as she walked over towards my closet and hung up the dress on the door.
