A Random Rant At Nothing

After all, i'm just normal. I am, really!!

Yeah, no one who knows me would believe that!

How inconsiderate of me! hello there wattpadians :) i hope you had a lovely day today, or whenever it is that you get to reading this... anyway, i'm back to have another go at the unsuspecting world for something it has annoyed or amused me with. Today it is the fact that teenagers always seem to say the wrong thing at exactly the wrong time; or more accurately, the world takes what we say and twists it until its a chewed up inappropriate string of words which makes us seem like we're deliberately making a horrendous joke.

The first thing that made me laugh so hard i cried was the slip of the tongue made by my good friend during a break time when we went to go see our chemistry teacher. Having her wrist in a bandage due to a repetitive strain injury, the teacher made the joke that she'd been beating people with her handbag (yeah, i know its odd but there is a reason); when asked what actually happened, she said it was due to over exposure to her boyfriend (a direct quote i may add). Our teacher looked over her head at me -i'm a few inches taller than my embarrased chum- and raised his eyebrows cautiously.

So there we were enjoying a very tense moment as we stood near the science office as our teacher clearly took the phrase the wrong way, until my friend realised her mistake and said they were arm wrestling; problem was, our teacher was already going vaguely red and saying see you thursday. We went down the stairs and laughed all the way into the dining hall where all details were hammered out of us by the group of people who say they're our friends (naww, love ya really!!).

So then, why do we find relations so difficult? who knows, but sometimes I think we're even worse amongst our friends; you'll say something and then realise that it is either a) absolute nonsense b) a huge innuendo c) so incorrect that you may as well have said that you were a flying ocelot with pink and green stripes. Its a freaky world out there!!!
