so today during french class, one of the spanish students came in asking for paper. the thing is, the spanish student was asking in spanish. my french teacher doesn't understand spanish. so he starts talking to the kid in french, which the kid knows nothing of. they basically tried to have a conversation in two different languages, neither of them understanding the other. it was hilarious.
i mean they did finally figure it out (the word for paper in spanish sounds like the word for paper in french so my french teacher caught on and finally gave the poor kid his paper)
