Today is Callie's baby shower and Jackson told me that it would be a good idea to go but it's really awkward for me.
"I really don't want to be here" I complained to Lexie, Meredith and Cristina as we decorated onesies for the baby.
"Then why'd you come?" Cristina asked.
"Jackson told me it'd be the nice thing to do" I said.
"Well he's right it is the nice thing to do it shows Mark that even though the two of you aren't together you're still supportive of him and Callie" Lexie said.
"I don't support this at all which is the reason why Mark and I are over for good this time" I said and it hurt to say that out loud.
"I don't think any woman would be supportive of their boyfriend having a baby with another girl I understand Madison" Meredith said.
"I'm gonna go get some food" I said and got up and made my way to the food table.
As I started to fill my plate Mark came and stood next to me.
"Hey thanks for coming it means a lot to me" He said and I gave him a small smile.
"Jackson suggested it" I replied.
"Oh well how have you been?" Mark asked.
"I've been fine look Mark I don't want to be friends I don't want to talk to you like I said Jackson suggested I came here I don't want to be here at all because it just makes me sad because I wanted to be with you more than anything and you chose Callie and her baby over me and you chose Sloan and her baby over me and Sloan didn't even keep the baby and she left you and that hurts that I was left behind and forgotten about" I said and I tried my best to hold back tears.
"You chose for us to end we still could've been together" Mark replied.
"No we couldn't because you have a baby with another woman you could've just been the uncle or something and let Callie and Arizona be happy with a baby you could've just waited until next year and we could've had a family together just you and me" I said and felt a few tears slid down my cheek.
I still haven't told Mark or anyone about me being pregnant only Jackson knows.
"Don't try and make me feel bad for doing what's gonna make me happy okay you don't get to do that we could just be civil and stay friends I don't get why you're being like this" He snapped.
"Like I said Mark I don't want to be friends so just leave me alone from now on" I said and he just walked off and then Alex came walking over to me.
Great just what I need I quickly wiped the few tears that were coming out of my eyes and turned towards him.
"I need to talk to you" He said sternly.
"About what?" I asked.
"I'd prefer it was in private" he said and that kinda worried me.
"Okay lets go then" I said and we walked out of the room and I felt Mark's eyes on me the whole time.
We went into a storage room and I was really confused because Alex and I haven't been doing much talking since I left him for Mark.
"What's this about Alex?" I asked.
"I was down in OB earlier doing something for Arizona and I saw your name and it said you were in for an second ultra sound and it said you were about a month along and even though we haven't been close lately I just want you to know I'm here if you need help because knowing you I'm sure that only Jackson knows" Alex said and I nodded.
"Thank you it means a lot Alex" I said and he gave me a smile.
"I've missed having my drinking buddy around" Alex said with a small laugh.
"Well there won't be any drinking for me for a while dude" I said and he laughed back.
"It's good to have you back" he said and pulled me into a hug.
"Please don't tell anyone about this yet" I said as we broke apart.
"I won't don't worry I'm assuming Mark doesn't know yet?" He replied.
"No I don't know how to tell him" I answered.
"Well good luck I have to go check on my patients" he said then walked out.
I waited a few minutes then walked out and back into the room where the baby shower was.
"So you're back with Karev?" Mark asked as I walked into the room and I rolled my eyes.
"Not that it's any of your business but no I'm not" I snapped.
"You guys were in there for a pretty long time" Mark replied.
"We weren't doing anything Mark so just drop it!" I said raising my voice and people looked over at us which was pretty embarrassing.
Luckily Jackson came over and saved me from having to continue the conversation anymore.
"Hey Madison we gotta go" Jackson said.
"Where?" I asked.
"We have that thing" Jackson replied.
He was talking about my appointment.
"What thing?" Mark asked.
"None of your business lets go Jackson" I said and quickly left the room.
"You have to tell him" Jackson said as we walked down to OB.
"I will when I'm ready he's not even gonna care since he has him and Callie's baby and she's like 3 months now I'm only 1 hers will be older and more important" I said.
"Trust me Madison he'll care" Jackson replied and we walked into the room.
"Hi Madison good to see you again" The nurse greeted me with a smile.
"Nice to see you too" I said smiling back.
"Lets take a look at your little one" She said and put the jell on my stomach and began to look around.
"How's it looking?" Jackson asked.
"Everything looks good but it seems to me that you're having twins" The nurse said with a smile and Jackson looked at me and smiled too.
"That's awesome" Jackson said.
A smile came on my face too I can't believe I was blessed with two babies this was exciting but all I could think about is how much I wish Mark was here to celebrate with me. I have to tell him soon.
