after the show, i weaved through the crowd leaving the theater and made my way backstage to see her. she was with the rest of the cast, hugging everyone and congratulating them.
she had been in the middle of hugging her male lead counterpart when she saw me.
she pulled away from him and hurried to my side. i handed her the bouquet of red roses i had gotten for her and she grinned at me happily.
it was like the last few months never happened.
"im so glad you could make it, jinny." she said to me.
