Gulp, I went over to the bus stop and other people were chatting.
"Hey!" I jumped, surprised when a girl walked up to me. "You scared me to death!" I breathed heavily!
"Sorry!"
she replied, "What's your name? My name is Piper"
"My name is Ivy" I exclaimed.
"Nice to meet you Ivy" she said "whats your grade?" "5th" I said. "Same" she said and walked away. Finally I see a familiar face. "Hey Fox!" I yelled and ran up to him. "Hi," he said, "what's up?"
"The sky!" I joked
"Oh uh huh" he punched me in the arm, "You nervous?" "Uhh, no, maybe..ok yes" i mutter. "Uh huh" he rolled his eyes
"OUCH!" I faked, "I hope we're in the same class"
"Same here" he whispers back. Then the bus screeched around the corner.
"Here we go" I muttered. The bus stopped in front of all the kids, who screamed "BUS!!" "Alrighty everyone, 5th graders in the back, kindergarten in the front" i didn't exactly care , i just sat in the middle(by myself). I started reading, its this great series called Percy Jackson ( for all of those fans out there... PERCANNABETH IS THE BEST NAME EVER) I was just getting to the best part when the bus stopped. Where we here already? Then i heard a lond screeching sound. I looked out of the window and I saw a huge stop sign right in my face. Wow, our bus just crashed into a stop sign (this actually happened) "Everybody calm down!" The bus driver was yelling, pretty soon police came and said we would have to wait one and a half hours before we got to school. "YES!" me and pretty much the whole bus screamed. I was just getting back into my book when a girl came up to my seat and sat down. She had a long brown ombre and a breathtaking smile. "Who are you?" I asked at the same time she did. We burst out laughing, when we finished I said "my name is Ivy, whats yours?" "My name is Bree" she said, "What are you reading?" "Percy Jackson" I replied. "My fav series is Warriors Cats!" "That's cool" I smiled. She smiled. And we talked to each other until that bus was moving again.
