Link×Sick, male Reader

For the people who wanted Link×Male Reader and those who were sick on Valentine's.  Btw, this is in Skyward Sword, but still in Skyloft and more modern times. Fan girl/boy away.

*The week before*

Well, (y/n). You've always been a stubborn guy. So, when you got sick and still were in the start of the school week, you still took class. It happened when sparing with Link. You had mentioned that you felt like shit, but continued to work hard. Maybe too hard... "(Y/n), Link. You're up." You were practicing sword techniques. That moment? Stabs. "Whenever you're ready, (y/n)." Link prepared himself with the shield and you lunged forward, but fainted and Link almost immediately caught you after dodging the sword.

*In your room in the knight academy, 7 exact days before Valentine's day*

Your POV (you should probably play the song through the entire chapter until you see a new one... Idk, you choose.)

This sucks. Link and Zelda promised to take care of me and Goldie (My Golden Loftwing), but I want to join them. I miss Goldie. I miss Zelda. I kinda even miss Groose (that how you even write his name? Lol) and his stupidity. I miss Link most of all, though. Zelda knows he's been my crush since we were kids. Valentine's is coming, so I decided to finish my present for Link. I quietly sowed the Crimson Loftwing's final details while humming Dango Daikazoku. I was missing the emerald green dragon, but with Link's visits? I need Zelda to keep him away to actually finish. I sing the chorus quietly while starting on the dragon and look at my phone.

Link:  Feeling any better, (y/n)?
Zelda: Yeah, we miss you, you know.
(y/n): Not much. I can barely stand up on my own. How's Goldie?
Link: Screw it, I'm coming over.

Great. I hide the finished plushies under my pillow and grab my (fave series) manga. Link quickly opened the door and sat next to me. Holy shit. Just in time... "Have you been reading manga all this time?" "... No..." Link's grin spread. "You have a Wii U." "Yes...?" "Mario Kart 8?" "... I pick you." "Okay."

The week went on like that after school days. Soon, it was Valentine's and I could still barely stand up. Worse? I think Link forgot about today...

Link's POV

I get up early for once and pick up the gold, red, and green roses Zelda chose. Without her, I'd be screwed today. I go find her to ask her for help confessing to (y/n), when Groose just had to ruin it. "Link! Why are you talking to my girl!" "Excuse me? Last I checked, I wasn't even Link's girl." "Uh... I-" I must admit that I had to be a hero that moment. "Zelda was going to help me confess." shit. That peaked his interest. "Oh really? I guess you don't mind if I tag along?" Zelda beat me to answer, but I guess it's for the best. "Of course not! In fact, it'll finally shut you up!" Okay, maybe it would have been better if I had answered. Hope (y/n)' feeling better...

We make it to (y/n)'s room and it seems Groose hasn't gotten the hint. *knock, knock* "Who's *small coughing fit* there?" "Boo" "Fuck you!" "Could you humor me?" "... No..." "Fine. We're coming in."

(y/n)'s POV

"We're coming in." I hide the gifts shyly and see Link come in with Zelda close behind and Groose looking confused as fuck by the door. "Welcome to the *cough* Dragon's Den!" Zelda was the first to give me a gift. "A music box? *cough!* Y-You didn't-" "yes I did. You're like my little brother! Now, open it!" The song it played was my favorite. Dango Daikazoku.

I have to admit. I nearly teared up. I gave Zelda her plushy. A Sakura dragon. "Aww!! Thank you!" Link blushes and looks away. "I, uh... Here..." he gave me the flower bouquet he had been holding and I blushed. I gave him both hand sewn plushies with a cough while blushing. "Well... We seem to have a crowd, but... Um... W-would you... Maybe? Uh... Go on a date with me?" "HELL YE- *cough* YEAH!" That's where it hit Groose. "Wait. Link and (y/n) are gay?!" Zelda looked confused at hos outburst. "Of course they are. Who do you think they stare at each class?" Thinking about it... Zelda was always the bridge between me and Link so we wouldn't shy away... Once it hit her, she ran after Groose, ready to murder him. "Well! That's settled. Breakfast and anime?" I grin. "Yeah, but not your- *cough* -cooking." Link blushes. "H-Hey!" This will be an interesting day.

I am too lazy. Have some Link. I still owe you guys more than half. Welp! I'll try to update faster. Btw, I haven't forgotten about the requests I have.
