'As Imhotep begins to read from The Book of The Dead, a strange mist wafts up out of the swirling hole and over to the jars, it passes through them and into Anck-su-namun's body. One of the jars shudders, the heart inside begins to beat. Anck-su-namun's eyes suddenly fly open.'

Anck-su-namun soul had come back from the dead but Pharaoh's bodyguards had followed Imhotep and stopped him before the ritual could be completed. Under the orders and watch of Nephthys herself, Imhotep's priests were condemned to be mummified alive. As for Imhotep, he was condemned to endure the Hom-Dai. The worst of all ancient curses, one so horrible, it had never before been bestowed.

'Imhotep is in bandages and laid into a wooden coffin inside a stone sarcophagus. An Embalmer with a bucket steps up and looks into the coffin. The Embalmer empties the bucket overImhotep's chest: dozens of scarabs, disgusting flesh eating beetles fell on top of him.'

The lid to the coffin is slammed shut. Then, using a strange four-sided key, the princess of the Mumia locks the coffin lid tight. The heavy sarcophagus lid is shoved into place and with a loud WHOOSH seals itself airtight. once again, Nephthys uses the strange key, locking the sarcophagus lid tight.'

'The strangely tattooed man carefully collapses the sides of the key, --turning it into a little puzzle box. '

The Medji would never allow him to be released. For he would arise a walking disease, a plague upon mankind, an unholy flesh-eater, with the strength of ages, power over the sands, and the glory of invincibility.

*3000 years later*

After all this time, the Medji are still watching Imhotep's grave. The Medji leader is a tall Man, dressed in black robes, sitting on top of a black stallon. His face is both handsome and tattooed. Meet Ardeth Bay. His dark eyes watch O'Connell stagger off into the open desert.

*In Cairo*

Cairo, a city teeming with every form of life. A strange, mysterious, wonderful city. Birthplace of Juliette Nephthys Carnarvon, who was born with a strange tattoo on the back of her neck.

A few minutes ago she had walked in on her boyfriend cheating on her. After a couple of curse words, she threw her knife between him and his lover and stormed out of the house.

After 4 hours of kick-boxing, karate and twenty minutes of bus-riding she finally reaches Cairo's Museum of Antiquities, the place where she could drown all her sorrows in books while reading hieroglyphics and story's of the old times. As she makes her way towards the room were her sister is supposed to work only to find the Curator storming out of it

CURATOR: Thanks Allah, Juliette your here! You won't believe what your sister did?!

JULIETTE: Oh believe me, there is nothing she can't do.

CURATOR: She is worse than all of the 10 plagues of Egypt.

JULIETTE: Well, now that I am here I'm going to help her manage her problems.

She went into the darker place of the museum, where she could hear her twin brothers laughter. And her sisters yelling.

EVELYN: You... ! YOU... !

JONATHAN: Drunkard? Fool? Rat-bastard? Please call me something original.

EVELYN: Have you no respect for the dead?

JONATHAN: Right now, I only wish to join them.He grins drunkenly. Evelyn punches him hard in the chest.

JULIETTE: I can't leave you two alone for even just six months, can I?

EVELYN: July ! I missed you so much, Jonathan is being unrespectfull to the death.

JULIETTE: And you destroyed the library, for all I know. You two are ruining your careers, you 'pointing to Evy' by whatever you did to the books and you 'pointing to Jonathan' by being drunk all the time.

JONATHAN: My dear, sweet, sisters, I'll have you know, that at this moment my career is on a high note.

EVELYN: High note? Ha! For five years you've been scrounging around Egypt, and what have you to show for it? Nothing.

'Jonathan excitedly starts scrounging around in his jacket.'

JONATHAN: oh yes I do! I have something right here!

EVELYN: Oh no, not another worthless trinket, Jonathan, if I bring one more piece of junk to the Curator to try and sell for you.

'Jonathan pulls out a small, ancient BOX; the collapsed KEY to Imhotep's sarcophagus and coffin. As Julietts eyes widen with shock, Evelyn is instantly curious and grabs the box out of his hand.'

EVELYN & JULIETTE: Where did you get this?

'Jonathan gives them a mischievous smile.'

JONATHAN: On a dig, down in Thebes, My whole life, I've never found anything, Evy. Please tell me I've found something.

'
Evelyn's fingers play with the various little slats on the box, shifting them this way and that way, it's like a puzzle box. Then suddenly, it unfolds itself, almost-mechanically, turning itself into the key. Sitting inside the open key/box is a folded piece of papyrus. An ancient map.

EVELYN: Jonathan?

JONATHAN: Yes?

EVELYN: I think you found something.

JULIETTE: And I think he didn't, it's probably some prank.
