Sophie's POV
"run, we can hold them back, GO!" I looked over at Quinn and nodded, she understood what I meant just like all the times I had to train in my 'other' form, since I never wanted her to see us like the demons we truly are. The only person who had seen us like this was Hayley but that wasn't really our choice, I suppose we could call it necessary but I hated it.
Turning my focus to my brother, I could see in his eyes that he didn't believe we could control it, but we both knew that it was the only way to save our friends. Even if we don't go with them. Taking his hand in mine I let the fiery beast inside of me take over and I started merging alongside my brother, once we had fully merged we started using our new forms to create waves of fire to melt the enemy to the ground.
Suddenly out of the corner of my eye I saw one of our maids hiding behind a statue, it was clear my brother had seen her too as we both stood in front of her and used our hands to let out our last bit of strength to completely wipe out the enemy's that were in this corridor. At that moment water started forming in a bubble around my twin and I, extinguishing the fire that surrounded us, and just like all the other times, I blacked out.
Hunter's POV
After Sophie and told us to run we did just that and started running towards the chair that was meant for her father, once we got there we moved the chair aside and everybody except for myself, Quinn and Hayley reverted into their human forms so that they could fit through the passage way.
I turned to my sister to tell her to go but a loud bang stopped me, I turned to look at the doors only to see them thrown open and Hayley using her powers to trap two creatures which I assumed were Sophie and Issac, Hayley dropped the water to the ground and the twins fell abruptly to the ground and Hayley quickly rushed to Issac as Quinn and I ran to Sophie to see if she was ok.
Once we were kneeling next to her she seemed ok but she wasn't opening her eyes which was worrying me to no end, I looked up to see if Issac was ok only to see him sitting up and staring at Sophie with concern plaguing his face. I quickly looked at Quinn and could see she too was worried about her best friend, "right, Quinn you help Hayley to assist Issac as he is in no state to walk on his own, I will carry Sophie down to the tunnels and when we get there we can have her looked at and see what's wrong. Any questions?" everybody shook their head and set off with their task as I carefully picked up Sophie and carried her down after the others.
Soon the chair moved itself back into place as we all rushed around a corner to be met by a sword with a stern looking Caleb behind it, he quickly lowered the sword when he saw it was us and quickly ushered us to where everybody else was gathered on the boat, we all sat on the boat and as we were pulling away from the path, Charon turned to us, "master Issac what happened?" Issac turned to answer but was quickly cut off by coughing coming from Sophie, I moved her body closer to mine and spoke to her in a calming manor, "Fire? Fire I need you to stay awake, okay? Can you do that for me we're almost there you just need to stay awake," turning to Charon, I asked him" how long until we're there?" he turned his head to me and shortly replied "not long at all" as he turned his head back to look at something, I followed his gaze to be completely amazed by what I saw. There in all its glory stood the most beautiful castle I had ever seen, but the fact that it had here surprised me yet it also didn't. because hades had always loved going big, which is why the gigantic castle in the middle of hell was practically normal.
