8. Empty Shore

Sometimes I find myself on an empty shore, vacant and desolate. The sky is decorated for a festival, a festival with no men.

Far across the vast dark waves, the stars kiss the horizon. The alien constellations twinkle in the dark, leaving a vacant ache.

Where am I?
For who I wait?
Alone on this lonely shore. I'm like the cursed Lilith, punished for a crime I didn't know.

The galaxies sparkle all night, like a rain of beautiful tears. Are you crying at my plight? I hope that just may be true.

Are you somewhere in those billion lights, in an alien plane? Can you see me across your sky? At your other end...

You see there's this gnawing feeling, eating me away- this alien plane is familiar, but then why not your face?
The dark waves consume my very existence, washing away my prints. Even if you ever reach me so far, I'll long be vanished into nothingness.

I hope I see you soon, I'm all alone on our empty shore...

When I open my eyes I find myself locked in a dark four walled cage. The reality waits for another turn of the clock, time for the nightmare I have to play.....
