Chapter 21: The End

As Budo began looking at the now unfrozen monster infront of him.
He then began shouting,
'Ayano!'
He was hoping that he could be able to reach her.
The monster laughed and looked down at Budo. It then said,
'You know that pathetic girl wouldn't hear you. She was already consumed by her tangled emotions.
She wouldn't hear you, you idiot!'

It sarcastically laughed again.
But Budo who was full of hope,
Still called unto her.
He knew that Ayano was still there, somewhere.

Inside of the Puppet Ayano, something was beginning to lit up.

Budo's determined and hopeful personality began to empower him more.
He kept on calling Ayano and kept on encouraging her to wake up.

The monster looked at Budo feeling a bit irritated, it also felt that the real Ayano was beginning to snap out of it.
The whole 'Ayano-getting-crazier' thing was beginning to make sense to Budo.
Ofcourse, he knew she has snapped and has already reached the climax of insanity.
But he knew deep inside, something else made Ayano empower herself more than what her strenght could only bear.
He knew the truth, and the lies.
He wasn't the one who was supposed to know the entire truth.
Because, now he knew, that he was one of the puppets.
He knew that he was also one of the students who was intented to die.

But even if the story was twisted, he was still included.
And he knew that,
Even if a story was not meant for you,
You're still there to find the ending.

So he did.

Ayano heard her name called, she was now able to regain 1/4 of her body.
She could see Budo, calling out her name.
Ayano looked at him,
'Why wasn't her senpai helping her?'
She thought.
'Do you really think that that coward will help you, Ayano? He may be 'cool' as to what you say, but his personality,Ayano, is nothing but the word coward written on it.'
Her controller said.
Poor Ayano, she became even more sad after the controller said those hurtful truth to her.
But Ayano saw how Budo was so determined to save her.

Budo knew that it was useless to just call her name. But he had a feeling that he was able to catch Ayano's attention.
He then thought of a stupid idea.
This might cost his life,
But he didn't care, he was ,after all, just a puppet.
So he knew that it didn't matter.
They would soon reset and everything would be normal, but he would soon forget everything that has happened; which would sadden him.
But he knew, that he was able to finish the task given to him.
Budo then closed his eyes.
'A minute is fine.
I could save her.
Before the time would even end.'

He faced the demon hands. He then assured himself that he wouldn't dare to die without even saving Ayano Aishi.

He inhaled then exhaled.
'Wait for a bit, Ayano.'
With these last words, he began running towards Ayano.
He passed through the dead bodies, with full determination,courage and hope; he felt ,as if, the students were counting on him and their hope was rooting for him.
He was now running towards the hands, he just smirked and shouted,
'Ayano Aishi! I'm here to save you!'
The words may be a bit corny but he couldn't help but shout it out loud.

Ayano was now able to control 1/2 of her body, she was able to free herself from the darkening boundary.
And know she was fighting with the controller.
She saw Budo running towards her. She gasped as he was nearing the demon's hands.
She wasn't powerful enough to make the arms disappear, but she was able to make the hands, less painful than before.
Budo crossed the demon's hands. He ignored the scratches and bruises that was forming in his whole face and body.
He knew that this was impossible, but determination and hope made him powerful.

He saw Ayano, he was now glad to see that she was looking petrified at him.
He knew it was the controller, so he quickly ran towards her.

The controller began to snap out of her surprised expression and it suddenly turned into a furious look.
It quickly grabbed Ayano's emergency knife and held it high.
Budo didn't dare stop.
He had 30 more seconds to spare.
He didn't try to waste it.

Ayano saw Budo didn't stop. For some unknown reasons, she felt something that she haven't felt for a long time...

The feeling of being cared.

Budo jumped on top of Ayano. Hugging her tightly.
Ayano tried stopping the controller; which she was somehow winning.
The controller, who had a few strenght remaining, stabbed Budo.

But Budo didn't let that end there.
With his last instances,
He hugged Ayano.
He made his face a bit close to her.
Ayano stared at him with shock.

He leaned closer and closer.
Ayano,at this moment, began blushing.
Their faces then came nearer and nearer until...

The controller who was still conscious took the distracted opportunity to control the hand with the knife.

Budo who clutched at Ayano's body tightly didn't let go.
Now it was definitely the end!

'Sigh, these idiots never gets it.'
The bored looking face stared at the monitors as she was watching the whole dramatic action happening.

She sighed again.
'Oh well, here's your request Budo...'
She pushed a button on her desktop.
And everything just started to become dark and blurry again.

Ayano looked at Budo, a genuine smile on her face.
'G-good morning Budo-senpai.'
As she nodded her head.
The two then began talking and continued going to their school.

Everything was just normal at Akademi high.
No possesing, no systems and no crazy phenomenon happening.
It's just the same, the same routine, the same students, the same teachers. Everything was just normal.

Their memories has now returned; but they don't remember anything that involves Ayano, muder or resets.

And then we have our,
Typical Yandere
With her Typical Senpai.

Everything is just...

The same.
