*Author's Note*This is my first fanfic, please enjoy! Also, I am totally open to any criticism or suggestions you may have, so if you feel like anything at all could be better, even if it's just one thing, please let me know, because I always want to improve. Thank you so much!
My eldest son stared up at me and my husband with wide eyes and a gaping mouth, and I prepared for whatever question he had for me.
"Mommy, how did you and Daddy meet?" He inquired, and I glanced at my husband, who gave me a small smile.
"It's a long story, hon, and it's time for you to go to bed anyway."
"But I wanna know." I sighed, and knew I just couldn't ignore that face.
"Well, it was 2012, and this was back when your dad was still a part of BTS, you know..."
"ALRIGHT, COME ON NOW, LET'S GO, LET'S GO, LET'S GO!" I yelled over the music at my kids, and they grimaced in pain. Part of me felt sorry for them, the other part wanted perfection. That part always won. The music stopped, and they finished in their last pose, waiting for my signal.
"Okay, breathe." Everyone dropped, and I chuckled.
"Guys, while that was so much better than the last few times, it's not where it needs to be. Kyungsoo, your arms are great, you've mastered them, but your feet are another matter. They're going to the right place, but there is little to no energy, and I can't have that. I know it's hard to work on it all, but if you're going to be a successful idol, you have to put effort into every single aspect. That goes for everyone, clear?" I asked, and the group of boys nodded at me. I was currently working on the choreography for EXO's Mama, and they still had a lot of work to be done.
"Ten minutes, and then we're doing this again. We'll be here until there are no mistakes, I hope y'all understand that." They groaned, but I knew they weren't actually mad. We've known each other long enough to know that, as hard as I push them, I do it out of love for them, and the wanting of their success.
It was past midnight when they finally mastered it and could head home. The boys walked me home, and I stretched before going to bed, feeling quite worn out after the long day of dancing and teaching and stretching and working out and talking and overall just doing everything. I had no idea how tiring my days were about to become.
The next day was a JYP day, meaning I went to the JYP building instead of SM. After the release of SHINee's 'Sherlock', my first MV, I had become well-known in Korea for my choreography, as well as my dancing skills. JYP sought after me to work with their bands, and I agreed. I was eating lunch with Miss A, following their session, when I got a call.
"Hello?"
"Hi, is this Bailey Clarke?"
"This is she."
"Hello, this is Bang-Si Hyuk, CEO of Big Hit Entertainment. I'd like to discuss something with you, would you be willing to meet with me?" I had to restrain myself from sighing. I had multiple offers from companies, and unfortunately couldn't sign with all of them. In fact, I already had an appointment planned with Yang Hyun-Suk, (YG Entertainment), and I wasn't sure if I was willing to work with 3, much less 4, companies.
"Unfortunately sir, I'm already signed on to two companies, which keeps my life pretty busy as it is. Even if I was considering this, I wouldn't have the time to have an appointment with you. However, I thank you very much for the offer." I was about to end the call, when he spoke again.
