16: Reset

It terrified you. But you stayed DETERMINED.

The same attack. It survived again.

"But.. But I need this to be alive. Human souls can't function if they're not complete."

"If you want Sans and Papyrus their father back, living a peaceful and happy life on the surface, You will give me your SOUL."

"If you do not, you will leave them in misery.. Trapped in the confines of this damned timeline, never to find true happiness again, and you may not continue your journey unless you.. defeat Sans and take Asgore's soul."

Ok, guys. I'll explain. The first book Start A New Again is the present timeline. This one is past timeline (Started A New After). Start A New Again, meaning that's the timeline after this. You may be confused, so read the first book's chapter 22 (which I published just now) which I just copy pasted on to here if you cant find Start A New Again.

In the sequel, it stated that the present timeline is the last and final one. The one to fix everything. But that didn't go so well, did it? So no more chances. You, the reader, really was not supposed to exist. A glitch. Gaster was right. The world is gone forever. It doesn't exist anymore. You changed the timeline, causing a chain reaction of timelines to be altered. And those timelines had the same ending as this. There is nothing you can do about it, not one thing. The reset has been done. No way of changing it. No 'happy ending'.
