Zach and Jacob made it to King's building and were both relieved to know that whatever was following them was now gone, but still to have something give them that kind of sense of unease was a rare occasion, and the main person who used to do it, even if intentionally, was Wade, but since he was dead now, they had no idea who or what was causing it. Once there, they made it clear to the entire building that they were there.
Zach aimed his shotgun to the sky, slightly at an angle so it wouldn't fall back on him and fire off a shell, the echo of the gunfire echoed clearly through the still Sunday evening air, "HEY KING! YOU HAVE SOMEONE OF OURS! KING!!"
For several minutes, there was no response, making it annoyingly clear that they were being ignored. But right before Zach said anything else, he was interrupted with one of the lower windows opening and Sasha poked her head out of the window.
"COULD YOU COME BACK SOME OTHER TIME, WE'RE ALL KIND OF IN THE MIDDLE OF SOMETHING RATHER IMPORTANT?"
"FUCK NO! WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU ARE, TELLING US TO COME BACK ANOTHER TIME WHEN YOU HAVE ONE OF OUR FRIENDS HOSTAGE!"
"OH, YOU'RE THOSE GUYS. HANG ON ONE SECOND!" She whistled and suddenly there was a rather large crowd of goons surrounding them, all with their own set of weapons and all of them smiling big when they saw that their prey was still recovering from injuries, making this something rather quick and easy.
"Don't underestimate these two." Zahariel stepped to the front of the crowd with an eyepatch over his right eye and the edge of some recent scarring just barely peeking out of the bottom of the patch, "They were the one's who proved your last boss to be nothing but a disgrace and an embarrassment to Benjamin King. I will not allow any of you to make the same mistake." He looked to the window, waiting for the signal from Sasha.
Sasha could be seen looking back inside the building for a couple of seconds before sticking her head back in, "GO AHEAD!"
Zahariel gave his own signal to the others to attack, and they all swarmed the two intruders quicker than they were able to react.
Zach fired his shotgun off in a succession of three shots before it got knocked out of his hands from the chaos of all the random swinging.
Jacob was fortunate enough to manage break out of his gaggle-fuck of a crowd and unloaded two full magazines into the crowd before he had to avoid getting hit by Zahariel, who had somehow gotten behind him and swung a rather odd looking machete. He tried to insert another magazine in, but he didn't seem to have enough time with Zahariel constantly on his ass and not giving him enough time to do anything except roll out of the way.
Zahariel wanted to end this now before things were to get out of hand. He lost the chance to kill these two when he had the chance the first time, and trying to kill them while those girls were having to guard and nurse them back to health proved to be far more difficult than he expected, which is why he's not willing to underestimate this particular group and is trying to end this quick. He could feel something was on its way that was going to make this much more difficult than it needs to be. So he needs to kill these two before it gets here so he could afford to give the thing his full attention. He swung a final time and got Jacob in the leg, cutting him deep, but not in any important arteries. A smile crept onto his face as he was about to finish off one of the annoying pests within his life, but right before he was able to deliver the final blow, his machete was caught.
A stranger in all black, wearing a simple white mask with blood stains on it held the machete's blade in his hand, gripping it tight, drawing a massive amount of blood, but showed no reaction.
"Can you still move?" Their voice appeared to be strained, indicating that he was doing what he could to hold Zahariel back, even though his arm wasn't shaking from the struggle.
