She Different

{ Chapter Two }

This morning when I woke up I woke up a lil late. So I hurried and got dressed in a black school shirt wit some khaki shorts. I put on my pink and white Jordan 12s and a pink jacket to match it.

I quickly brushed my teeth and washed my face and grabbed my PINK pink colored backpack.

" Ky your daddy dropping you " my mama said

" Yes ma'am,  " I said said grabbing a orange off the corner.

" Ma can I stay at Lisa's this weekend?  " I asked my mama

" I don't care guh. " she said leaving the house.

" you ready Ky ?" my dad asked me

" yes sir " I said leaving out the house with him behind me locking the house. 

I got inside his truck and just chilled until he got in.

" so how you like school? " my dad asked me backing out of our driveway

" it's good " I said

A few minutes later we pulled up to my school and I got out. My dad and I said our see you laters and I walked towards the front door.  As I was walking o heard someone calling my name.

" Ky' Andrea!? " I heard my name being yelled

I turned around and looked to see Avery. 

" Oh hey girl " I said smiling as she walked up to me

" Hey i was hoping that I said your name right " she said

I just smiled as we walked.

" Ayee we matching girl. " she said

That made me laugh.  Unlike all these other girls Avery was some what like me she was quiet and did her work. 

" im getting checked out today but maybe we can hang out this weekend ?" Avery asked

" yeah thats sounds good. My mom will have to meet your mom first though  " I said

" My Mom is the same way. " she said laughing. 

I went to my algebra two class and did all my work. This class was somewhat easy to me.  After this class I have lunch. 

" So does anyone know the formula quadratic equations? " Mr. Green asked us. 

" ax squared plus bx plus c equals zero " I said shyly

" That's correct Ms. Bowman " Mr. Green replied

I smiled to myself for getting the answer right.  Soon he wrote out a problem on the board for us to work

" Okay class work this problem out 5x² + 6x + 1 = 0 " he said

I quickly started doing the math while others talked and laughed. I took my grades seriously. 

About four minutes later he walked back up to the board.

" so who got the answer to 5x² + 6x + 1 = 0?" he asked us

" I do the answer is x=−0.2 ± 0.4i" I said

" Correct " he said smiling

" Mane that lil bitch came from them private schools now she thanking she smart and Shit " I heard some guy said
I sighed why did I have to be a lil female dog just because I'm doing my work?  I didn't even come from a private school.  I was in a regular public school. 

" Mane watch yo fuckin mouth " I heard some other guy said

"  Gaulden , watch your language " Mr. Green said
