Remus smiled gently and reasuringly. the part that had been shocked about Angela changed its emotion to anger, directed at Jeanette. The woman had made Angela feel unsafe as well as unwanted? He was going to get her back for this. And the other part of Remus swelled with pride at the knowledge that he had made Angela feel safe, after years of not being safe at all.
"You don't need to worry about not being safe again, cub." he said confidently. Remus would protect his cub with everything he owned now. "I promise you that."
