AIDEN

I was very fortunate to have Tyler in most of my classes. Since we kind of have the same interest and course, we hanged out a lot. Arriving thirty minutes early, we got to choose where to sit down. Tyler and I settled down on the chairs at the end of third row so it wouldn't be a burden getting out after class. We sat down, fixing the things we will need for class. Dovish, Tyler and I discussed about the latest issue of our country. We were trying to debate when students started flowing inside the room.

"Good thing we're early" Tyler mumbled, writing notes on his journal.

"Yeah"

We were doing our homework in History when Trish suddenly entered the room. I jolted, trying to hide from her. While I was sneaky and quivering in nervousness, Tyler waved his hand, signaling Trish to sit with us. Damningly, I tried to stop my stupid roommate who was about to ruin my life.

I am so mad at myself. I feel like I hate myself instead of hating you and I don't know if that's possible because I convinced myself I was over you and now I know it was all pretend. I pretended that I didn't look at you when you didn't notice I was. I pretended not to light up when you entered the room. I pretended not to be upset when we got in a fight. I pretended I didn't look forward to seeing you everyday. I pretended that I wasn't hurt when you broke my heart. I pretended that I didn't miss you when you didn't come around. Now all these lies have showed me that I miss you so much more than I realized.

Without second thoughts, Trish smiled waving back at Tyler. She halted towards us making me suffer to death. I guess she didn't see me huh? Am I not too hot to be noticed now?

"What the hell man?" I said making him shriek with laughter. Tyler moved to the next seat at his right making the seat between us empty. I was about to flee when Trish suddenly arrived saying, "Hey Tyler"

"Hi Trish"

She settled down, fixing her laptop. She still didn't notice me despite the fact that Tyler was laughing his ass off. I didn't budge, covering my blushing face with my hands, hoping to stay like this until the period ends.

"Hey Aiden" Tyler said making Trish scan the room.

I cursed, jerking my head to face the both of them. Shit I'm busted. I gave him a taunting smile.

"Aiden?" Trish asked.

"Hi Trish" I smiled broadly.

"Hey"

"You're cousins right?" Tyler asked as if he didn't know. I wanted to punch him right now.

Trish nodded while I rolled my eyes.

"No problem then. Enjoy the class. See ya later" He said gathering his things.

"What? Where are you going?" I panicked.

"The secretary called for me a while ago"

"Why?" Trish asked.

"I volunteered to do paper works today"

I sighed. I'm going to kill you Tyler. I know he planed this. That's why he was so excited to go to class. That explains it all.

Tyler left, winking at me. Oh God. I didn't know what to say to Trish but I want us to be okay.

"Are you free after class?" I mumbled avoiding her eyes. I pretended to look busy with my notes.

"I'm not sure about that. I have a meeting for a practice trial tomorrow"

"Tonight?"

"I'll be probably cramming my speech"

"Now then?"
