Chapter 5 Naruto's Return

You grew quite lonely without Sasuke. You still stayed by yourself and never talked.

You started to walk back home after training was over. Ever since Sasuke left you never went back to the waterfall. You didn't feel like going without Sasuke by your side.

As you were walking back home you saw Naruto.

"Oh hey (y/n)."

"Hey Naruto."

"You know you don't talk as much as you used to when Sasuke was around." Naruto said.

"Look I know you miss him and cared a lot about him just like all of us do. But don't worry I will bring him back. Believe it!!!"

"Thanks Naruto. I know you'll bring him back."

"Now try to smile more. I mean Sasuke wouldn't be happy seeing you depressed like this."

"Yeah your right."

After that day you made many friends. You were happy once again but you still missed Sasuke. 'It's alright he will come home soon. Naruto will bring him back I know he will.' You thought to yourself.

Even worse Naruto left Konoha too to train with Jiraiya. He's coming back for sure though. You missed Naruto as well but you smiled like he told you to.

You woke up to your annoying alarm. You tried to stop it but it kept going. With anger filling up inside you, you pick up the alarm and threw it hard into your wall and broke it into a thousand pieces. Since your academy days with Sasuke and Naruto you grew up to be a pretty strong female and can brake anything to a thousand pieces.

You quickly got dressed and ate breakfast and since today is your day off you decided to go to the bookstore for a new book.

When you were walking down the streets you saw Ichiraku Ramen. That restaurant Naruto always goes to. 'Maybe when Naruto returns I'll treat him to some ramen. Hmmm. Better save up for that, it will probably cost me a fortune. Naruto eats like thirty bowls!'

You continued to walk and felt someone's presence in the air. You felt someone's chakra jumping roof to roof. It was getting closer. When it finally reaches you, you look up to see Naruto on someone's rooftop.

Naruto's P.O.V.

"Man it feels good to be back!" I said jumping building to building. I was on my way to the hokage's office to give Kakashi something I think he will like! As I was jumping I sensed another chakra walking towards me. "Hm. This chakra seems familiar." I continued to move forward. I could feel the chakra of another person a couple jumps away from me. As I got there I jumped on a roof and looked down. Only to see my old friend (y/n). "(Y/n)!" I said as I jumped down to her level.

Your P.O.V.

"Naruto! Your back!" You ran to give him a big hug. He caught you in his arms. "Hey (y/n) long time no see huh?"

"Yeah! I didn't know you were coming back today! I'm glad your safe."

"And I'm glad to see that beautiful smile on your face again!" He said.

You blushed and asked "How was your training with Jiraiya sensei?"

"Oh with pervy sage. Yeah it went well!"

"Well I'm glad. Do you have to be any where right now?"

"Actually yeah. I was on my way to the see the hokage and the others. Why?"

"Oh well I thought about treating you to ramen. But we can plan that another time." You said.

"Awww! (Y/n) your as sweet as ever! Once I'm done we will go ok?"

"Alright then." You chuckled.

"Well see you soon (y/n)!" Naruto jumped back on to the builders and ran towards the hokage's building.

"I'm glad your back Naruto." You mumbled. Before you took another step you sensed someone watching you. Another chakra you did not recognize. They took one step and you grabbed a kunai out of your pocket and took aim, throwing it towards the person. The person caught your weapon easily.

"You know you should see who your target is before you throw. You never know you might hit a child."

After hearing that person talk you had no trouble identifying whose chakra you sensed.

It was your friend Sasuke.
