Chapter 2 First Lunch Together

Your P.O.V.

Yesterday Sasuke said he was interested in me. What did he mean by that. Is he messing with me? Does he like me or something? No that can't be it. There's no way he would fall for someone like me. Why do I care anyway? I mean he's a jerk to everyone. But why did he talk to me and why did he accept us being friends?

"Lunch time!" Iruka sensei yelled. Your train of thoughts were inturuppted by Iruka's loud voice. 'About time'. You thought. Today I brought two dangos and one rice ball. While I was walking to my usual eating area Ino and Sakura ran past me. "Stay away from Sasuke!" Sakura yelled at Ino while chasing her. "Get away forehead!" Ino yelled back. "I don't understand the girls at this academy sometimes." You mumbled and continued walking.

Sasuke's P.O.V

I was heading to my normal spot where I eat lunch at until I saw a bunch of girls surrounding the area. "Dammit!" I mumbled. They found out where I eat. I typically liked to eat by myself to get a break from everyone. I walked away from the area and searched for somewhere else to eat.

'This looks like a decent place to eat. I'm running out of time this will have to do.' I thought to myself. I jumped on the large tree and leaned against it while I started eating until I heard a familiar voice.

"Hey Sasuke!" I saw (y/n) walking towards me with her lunch in her hands.

"What are you doing here?" She asked.

"What does it look like?" I said back.

"Oh right." She said.

"What are you doing here?" I asked while I took a bite out of my lunch.

"Uh well you see this is where I also eat lunch at."

"Oh well...you..."

"It's alright I'll just find somewhere else to eat. Have a good lun-"

"I was gonna say you can sit and eat with me." I interrupted her.

"Are you sure?" She asked.

"Yeah."

"Really!?!"

"YES!"

"Are you sure your sure?" She asked again.

"Hurry up before I change my mind."

"Sorry I was just messing with you!" She said with a smile.

I returned a small smile towards her.

Your P.O.V

'Sasuke smiled! I've never seen him smile before. He had a nice smile.' You thought. "You know Sasuke you have a nice smile." You said. "Hn." Was his response. You and Sasuke sat there on the branch talking and eating till lunch was over. He suddenly started a new conversation with you.

"Do you eat lunch by yourself?" Sasuke asked.

"Yeah. I don't socialize a lot. I don't have many friends besides you and Naruto. Do you always eat alone too Sasuke?"

"Yeah."

"Well we should probably go back now." You said.

"Right let's go." He said.

As you two started walking back you asked Sasuke a question.

"So how come you decided to eat lunch at that tree?

"My spot was surrounded by girls and I didn't want to deal with them."

"Oh I see."

"If it's alright with you I would like to eat lunch with you from now on at the same spot since I got no where else to eat." He asked.

"Uh s-sure."

"You seem uncertain."

"Well I just didn't expect the great Sasuke Uchiha to ask me to eat lunch everyday with him." You said.

"Well we are friends aren't we? It's normal to eat lunch together right?"

"Right. Then I would love to have lunch with you Sasuke!"

"Alright then." He said.

From that day on you and Sasuke would go and eat lunch with each other everyday at the academy. No one knew about you two eating lunch together and you planned to keep it that way for some reason. So you both would leave at different times and meet each other at the tree to eat and always walked back to class together.
