Chapter 4 Sasuke Leaves Konoha

Ever since that day he kissed you, you and Sasuke became much closer. Nothing more happened after that. You both just stayed friends. Of course girls stared at you and would give you angry glares because you and Sasuke would always hang out with each other but you didn't care. You just enjoyed his company while he enjoyed yours. Everything was good the way it was. Until the day that Sasuke decided to leave Konoha.

You both are now 13 years old.

Your P.O.V.

You decided to take a night walk because you couldn't sleep. You continued your walk and jumped to a tree and sat down staring at the moon.

When you looked back down you saw Sakura. 'What is she doing out so late?' You thought. Sakura stopped and ran the other direction. 'Is she alright? I should go talk to her. No she probably wants to be alone. And she hates me anyway. No use trying.' You thought again. You looked back up at the sky again. Suddenly you thought about Sasuke.

"I wonder what he's dreaming about right now?" You mumbled. 'Hmm. Does Sasuke have dreams? Does he even dream at all? Like me? I haven't had a dream in years.' You thought about it longer for awhile.

After thinking you jumped from the tree and decided to explore around the village. Hoping to find something interesting. Indeed you did. As you were walking you saw Sakura crying staring at someone a few feet away from her. 'Sasuke? What's he doing out here? Why is he caring his backpack? Is he...LEAVING!?!' You thought.

You didn't want to interrupt what the two were doing so you jumped and hid behind a tree and listened quietly to their conversation.

"I tried to follow down that path but in the end I decided on revenge." Sasuke spoke.

'He decided on revenge? Wait is he talking about revenge on his older brother Itachi?' You said in your head. During one of your deep conversations with Sasuke he mentioned about his brother Itachi. You knew everything that happend between the two brothers. You knew Itachi killed his entire clan. You knew Sasuke was dedicated to getting his revenge.

You continued to listen to their conversation. And Sakura spoke up.

"Sasuke I love you so much it hurts!" Sakura said with crying eyes.

She seemed really hurt. But all Sasuke said was that she really was annoying. 'Sasuke why do you have to be so rude to her? Can't you just smile and turn her down nicely?' You thought.

They continued this conversation and by now you knew Sasuke was going to leave the village and there was nothing Sakura could do about it.

"Sakura thanks for everything." Was his final words to her before he knocked her out and set her on a bench near by.

He started walking off towards the gates of the village. You didn't know what to do at that point. You silently followed him.

"I know your there (y/n)."

You jumped down to where he can see you clearly. "So you really are leaving?" You said.

"Yeah."

"Don't worry I won't stop you. I know you need to do this. And I support you. I just wanted to say...." you paused.

"Say what?" He asked.

"Just...thanks. For being my friend. And even though your leaving me and the village I will always be your friend."

"And you will always be mine. Forever and always." He said.

"You know you really are something huh Sasuke? I'd never thought you'd say something like that to me. I'd also never thought that you would become my friend. But Im really thankful. I hope to see you again Sasuke."

After what you said he walked closer to you. Sasuke was inches away from your face. He had his right hand in his pocket and his left barely touching your right cheek. You blushed by his soft touch. He put his mouth near your left ear and said "I'll be back for you." He gave you a gentle kiss on the middle of your forehead and walked away.

"Goodbye Duckbutt." You said quietly.

"Goodbye (y/n)."

And just like that he was gone. You felt a single tear run down your cheek. You wiped it away already missing him. You felt more tears coming.

You wiped them away and walked back home with a small smile plastered on you face.
