My review:
Maybe I didn't read the description well enough but I assumed she was going to fall in love with a pirate in this book. She does not. The story line starts off right away so there's not a lot of boring introduction. The characters are very like-able or very hate-able, there's not much of an in between. It did get slower near the middle and was hard to trudge through, but definitely still an excellent read. The ending was a bit dragged out as well. Lots of fully developed characters, action, humor, and romance. Probably a PG-13/ light R rating (some gruesome scenes and one of the villainous characters treats his 'slaves' horrifically).
