**Hey guys, so this chapter is just to explain all the different terms and creatures of this world, hope you enjoy!**
Roamers- Roamers are the zombies of Nuclear Chill, they are mindless and rotting, thanks to all the radiation, they attack you no matter and cannot be negotiated with, they roam around, giving them their names and they come in five main types;
•Roamer-basic roamers unit, use biting, scratching etc. in combat
•Stalker-Stalk their prey, they slit the throats with their sharp long fingernails and eat the corpse.
•Crawler-Legless, the hide as corpse and intercept their prey.
•Brawler-large, strong and the most mutated, they use pure muscle and brawl in combat.
•Biter- Armless roamers, they use biting to attack.
Stalkers- Stalkers are heavily equipped humans and are the hunters of this world, usually equipped with a gas/radiation mask, a radiation suit, Oxygen tank and pipe and multiple weapons, storage and other supplies, they hunt roamers, mutated creatures, cultists and random survivors, they are rarely negotiating and are very dangerous, the old world government sends a squad of four of these stalkers up to check on things, they wear all black and have a white skull logo on the front of the suit, these squads are nicknamed "death squads".
Ghost Stalkers- exact copies of stalkers, ghost stalkers have foggy masks and are believed to be a special form of roamers, they are silent and only use Melee weapons. Not much else is known about them.
Cultists- cultists are the religion of Nuclear Chill, they are many variations of the cults, from the followers of Wermacht, a barbaric faction to The Cult, a mysterious faction with unknown properties, which brings us to the next group.
The Cultists- The Cultists is the most advanced and only major faction in the world of Nuclear Chill known to Caden, they're a cult of sacrificial, dark and robed monks, they build great temples from the ruins of old buildings, usually out of dark maroon or crimson materials, the most common is a square building with a external pillar that houses a fire beacon with a spiked dome place on top, they sport mahogany robes with a brown rope belt and a golden clip. They mass pray in a circular auditorium of the dome, in the centre, a bloody sacrificial table encircled with skulls. The only facts come from abandoned temples or escapee sacrifices or simple rumours.
Mutants- Mutants are the common terminology for mutated creatures and humans, the main list of animals local to Caden include;
•RadHog-Mutated pigs and hogs
•RadChicks-Mutated Chickens
•RadFlyers-Mutated Birds
•Glowing Bat-Mutated Bats
•RadDeer- Mutated Deer
•Razzly- Nickname for a Grizzly RadBear, a mutant bear.
•RadFox- Mutated Fox
•RadMoose- Mutated Moose
For other creatures, just put Rad in front, E.G RadSquirrel
Sanctuary- One of four, "Haven" camps for survivors, they are the most advanced civilisation close to the pre-apocalypse civilisation. Sanctuary is the East Coast equivalent, it is a community full of good-hearted people and law-abiding citizens, but sometimes, utopia has a dark secret. They are the four camps;
•Haven- West Coast
•Oasis- Central America
•Sanctuary- East Coast
•Utopia- HQ, Based in New York
Central Wastes- Nuclear Wasteland of Central America, another name for the Great Plains or "Great Wastes"
Eastern Ruins- Nuclear Wasteland of the East Coast of America
Mojave Radioactive Ruins/Mojave Nuclear Ruins- Nuclear Wasteland of the West Coast, also known as the "M.N.R".
'83- Nickname for the event that triggered nuclear war, also commonly mistaken for " '84" that event being the 26th September 1983 False Alarm, where Lieutenant-Colonel Stanislav Petrov falsely saw 4 Nuclear Missiles projected by corrupt scanners as real and thus sent warnings to High Command who launched all Nuclear Warheads towards NATO who in return engulfed the majority of the rest of the world in nuclear fire.
