The sun was setting, with a chilled breeze. I read my book lounging on my roof top reading
the shinning by the great author Steven king.
The tiles felt like sand paper against my back.
"Hmm..."
I scanned the pages, craving more information from each sheet of paper.
"The book really is different than the movie!"
I dropped my jaw.
Being so sucked into the book I had no idea Kyle was sneaking up on me.
I felt a hand on my shoulder and in shock I screeched.
"WAAAH!"
Screaming I made Kyle jump.
Loosing my breath i hugged him.
"Oh.. I'm sorry Kyle, just erm.. reading a horror novel.. hehe"
I grinned awkwardly catching my breath.
"P-Paranormal?"
He asked scooting close to me.

"Well that's the basis of its appeal."
I snapped the book shut.
His fingers slipped down on top of mine and he opened the book.

"Trust me Kyle, it's not your type of book."
I conceded.

"Wow"
I gasped Looking into the breathtaking horizon.

"It's gorgeous!"
I laughed gazing into the pink, and blue skies.

"You're gorgeous"
He smiled.

"I know right"
I said sarcastically.

"I'm serious (y/n). You are."
He kissed me on the head.
